One often forgets dates and names, but never a good story! This tour will take you back in time through its stories, and anecdotes that one would miss otherwise. It's a combination of a walking tour and Street food tour.
Starting from the Big Ben of Mysore- Doddagadiyara or the big clock tower in front of the Mysuru Townhall, walk past the palace gates and then to the Devaraja Market, a century-old market where local produce is sold.
Get a locals perspective of what the market means and entails. Visit a local perfume maker and get to photograph friendly faces of the vendors.
Post the market, the tour takes you through small alleyways and hole in the wall places which only the locals know about where you will get to try safe street food (No Delhi belly, I promise)
End the walk with the best Mysore masala Dosa and tips on planning your next few days of vacation in India. Or shoot ANY questions about life in India, culture, religion, etc.

5.00Loved it, very informative and good food. He was also sharing personal stories which we appreciated and were again informative in understanding the culture. Faizan was also great with our kids (age 4 and 6)

5.00This was just great. Fez was humorous , informative and friendly. The walking tour was varied with the highlight a slow amble through the market a night followed by some really great street food, each place with a different story attached. I'm so glad we started our trip with this tour. Couldn't recommend highly enough

5.00We joined Fez’s walking and food evening tour. He told us about Mysore history in an engaging, fun and very knowledgable way with lots of story telling in better English than us. A magical mystery tour of history, flower and vegetable markets before a foodie night out at his favourite haunts. We had some of the best food of our 3 week trip with surprises and stories of the food preparation and culture behind it. Not to be missed. We also asked Fez to be our guide for the next day. He took us to Tippu Sultan’s summer palace, a funeral spot on the river and Mysore Palace. Again, his history and knowledge is second to none and he kept us clinging to every word for four hours. His enthusiasm and story telling is second to none and we learnt so much. His patience, knowledge, personality and professionalism is a delight. We feel so lucky to have found him as our guide. Thank you Fez, you made our time in Mysore so special.

5.00We had a great meeting with Mysore through this tour. We learned about the history of India, its customs and customs, not to mention the delicious varied food. Strolling through the market with all the vegetables, herbs and flowers was a real experience. The guide was very approachable, gentle and had a lot of knowledge that he brought with humor.

5.00The tour with Faizan was an experience! We have been around the market and on the market. Faizan is a very open, friendly and fun guide. He knows an incredible amount about history, culture and religion. This applies not only to India but worldwide. His English is impeccable - and accent-free. We stopped at various stalls to try the vegetarian and super delicious street food. Faizan was carrying water and disinfectant. I could tolerate the food without any problems. Faizan can respond to individual interests and always knows how to tell a story. It's just great to look at a city not just through your own eyes. Thanks for that!!! :)

5.00This was my highlight of visiting Mysore! Travelling solo I wanted to take a break from using my brain to find all of the good spots, and lucky I did because I would not have gotten to taste and see all that I did if organising myself! Fez is lovely, super knowledgeable (across seemingly everything), funny, and his English is just about better than mine. The time on the tour flew by and he gave me a bunch of recommendations for further exploring. Definitely eat an early lunch (if any); everything was delicious. I had such a great experience and highly recommend to travellers of all kinds!

5.00If, like us, you love to learn about the history of a city and also share some of its daily activities and unseen places with a knowledgeable, personable and companionable guide then look no further: this is most definitely the Mysuru tour for you. Fez is a brilliantly intelligent and good-humoured guide, with a deep knowledge of the history of the city, its religious practices and its busy streets. He shares this with a well-judged level of playfulness and interaction as well as deep respect for the city. His pre-tour communication is excellent - and recommendations he suggested for us for further exploration were sent promptly after the tour, with additional prompts about Indian cinema, another passion of his. The street food element was a joy; believe Fez when he suggests you will not need supper afterwards. We would not have experienced this aspect of the city without him. We have taken many guided tours over the years, and I am a tour guide in our home city in the UK, this was an example of 'what a good one looks like' in every respect. Perfect length; perfect content and pitched perfectly to engage all the participants. Absolutely recommended.

5.00I am genuinely gobsmacked as to how good this walking tour was! A first timers to India we thought a bit of local guidance to some area could be nice. We were expecting a quick whistle-stop tour around a few points of interest but what we got was so much more than that. Our tour guide Fez was not only an incredibly personable guy, but was also an encyclopedia of facts. There never felt like there was a dull moment. If you happen to be in Mysore I not only recommend this tour, but I also think it is worth going out of your way to ensure you do not miss it. Highlight of my trip!
