Baikove Cemetery

The tour starts with hotel pick-up by a private car. Once you arrive at the Baikove Cemetery, you will uncover myths and legends of the past while you wander through the labyrinths of graves. Many artists, writers and politicians are buried there, like Lesia Ukrainka, Mykhailo Hrushevskiy and Bogdan Stupka. Your guide will tell you the most interesting facts about their lives. Initially, the cemetery was divided into separate parts for Orthodox, Catholic and Lutheran burials. As people of different nationalities are laid to rest on Baikove Cemetery, you can discover the graves of Germans, Poles and Jews there. Once the tour is over, your driver will drop you off at your hotel.
