Our trip to Nagano, specifically the Togakushi area, with Seiko-San was unforgettable. It rained most of our trip, but that didn't stop us from taking in Togakushi-Jinja and Kagami-ike. We were able to learn a great deal about the area as well as the historical significance of both the Shinto and Buddhist practices. Seiko-San, our guide, was very professional and knowledgeable. She also helped us out greatly with our hotel where she met us. We were attempting to check in but found out we had booked the wrong type of room. Seiko-San was able to help us translate the error and we were able to work through it with the hotel without having to rely on Google Translate or our very nascent Japanese language skills. She saved the day for sure! She also helped us arrange travel to and from Togakushi, including navigating the bus schedule we hadn't used yet during our time in Japan. She also made sure we got on the bus safely before seeing us off. We greatly appreciated all of her help and we learned so much local knowledge about the area we wouldn't have gotten on our own. If you're visiting Nagano or the surrounding area, we highly recommend booking through this agency.

The tour was good but we wasted some time because the guide got lost. She was a very nice lady but we were disappointed that she was not familiar with the area.

Emi was a great guide who took time in explaining the many facets of the Zenko-ji Temple. On our walk to the temple, she pointed out the various cultural sites, food to sample and Japanese history. This was an excellent tour and I recommend Emi as a guide.

Small city, but it has everything. Historic site, beautiful mountains, cozy ryokan, delicious meals!! 작은 동네 같은데 관광하기 딱 좋은 사이즈의 곳이네요. 조금만 교외로 가면 기가막힌 자연환경에 도심에 있는 절, 그 앞에 있는 작은 진짜 료칸! 맘에 듭니다.

We had a beautiful afternoon spending 4 hours with Emi (Amy) seeing Senko-Ji temple, an open-air market, the art museum, and observatory overlooking all of Nagano. Amy is a wonderful, energetic and knowledgeable guide who speaks English very well. We enjoyed our time very much and highly recommend this tour!

Tour guide Nori can speak & write in English very well. He sent us information a month ago and kept updating us the weather and other info weekly before our trip. On the days before trip, he told us there was snow and asked us to be prepared. The floor is slippery (as snow just started to melt) and I kept falling when I walked. Nori gave me a hand and guided me to walk slowly. He brought us hiking sticks & gloves. Togakushi is a nice place for those who love nature. Kagamiike Pond is amazing. I would love to visit Nagano and have another hiking trip with Nori when I come to Nagano again.
