Overall the tour was good and we enjoyed. The 3 wineries were varying quality - none terrible and one was very good with the other two just okay. The driver / tour guide (Thomas I think) was very knowledgeable but kept including non-related political commentary that I do tours like this to get away from honestly. He also got very worked up over a person talking while he was talking - which was rude for sure but he went on about it for way too long. If he would have stuck to tour related info and maybe given it would have been much better. Not sure I would do it again…

Generous number of tastings at each winery. Unsurprisingly, they’re not top producers: second tasting was a not disjointed; third one majored on non-dry (from off-dry to demi-sec). Driver doubled as guide and was excellent.

The trip was longer than expected and also just okay. We were picked up at 9 am but didn’t get back to the city until 6. I had places to be BY 6, so I had to uber back to the city 🥲 the wineries were nice but I wish we didn’t get a tour of each one and that they were more for tasting and spent less time walking us through facilities. I also wish lunch was included at a winery. We spent so much time on the bus just going between each winery and then drove from Napa back to Sonoma for lunch and then back to Napa for the final winery. I feel like the trip could be organized more efficiently or that we could stick to lunches at the wineries. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this tour to others, it’s easier to drive up yourselves or hire a DD for the day.
