Your adventure continues to Mount Vesuvius, with a choice between two unique trails:
The Crater Trail leads you on a scenic ascent to the summit, where sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and a striking glimpse into the volcanic crater await.
The Valley of Hell offers a more adventurous path, winding through solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and revealing extraordinary rock formations and a hidden lava cave.
Both trails are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the area.

During the low season (November - March) the live guide inside Pompeii ruins will be replaced by an audio guide for groups of less than six

2.00We decided late not to do this tour being uncertain as to our ship's docking time. Instead we opted for a walking tour ourselves getting a taxi upto the Archeological Museum an walking back to the port via some sensational churches and perhaps the underground tour. The museum was fantastic as were the churches - particularly Jesu Nouvo. But the city remains dirty and the taxi drivers out to fleece the tourists so need a quote first.

5.00We had an AMAZING time visiting Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. The tour guide Clementine and driver Genaro made the whole experience so easy and seamless. Lunch was also included and we had a beautiful view while eating lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you for making this experience so fun!

Roberta our world tours guide, along with Biagio our Pompeii guide were so knowledgeable, and maurizo was an AMAZING driver, navigating the narrow streets of Naples and up Vesuvius. This tour included entry to Pompeii, lunch with a stunning view on Vesuvius with beverages included, water included and entry to Vesuvius itself, along with round trip travel. Do yourself a favor and book this trip

5.00We had an amazing trip under the guidance of Nadia — everything was perfectly organized and enjoyable. The lunch was absolutely delicious, and our guide in Pompeii, Leo, was fantastic! He shared so many fascinating stories and interesting facts that really brought the ancient city to life. Highly recommend this experience!

3.00False advertisement. This part of the booking "Disembark there and follow your guide up a winding path that leads to the top of the volcano (this is a moderately challenging walk). Peer into the volcano crater and learn about the geology of the volcano from a volcanologist guide" is lie. You do not actually go to the top of the volcano and peer into the crater. This is the one part of the trip that I was really looking forward to sine i"ve been to Pompei before and I was extremely disappointed that we didn't make it to the top. The tour was a hour shorter than suggested. The guide in Pompei was lovely as was our tour guide for the day but not getting to the top of Vesuvius left me disappointed. Book a different tour

5.00We enjoyed our trip to Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii. Id definitely return to Pompeii again. They are still actively excavating some of the original roads and buildings and it was very well maintained. Definitely learned a lot. The “light lunch” we had midday was enough food for the whole day!
