My passion for songwriting and my ability to connect with others through music is what makes my experience unique. You don't need any musical talent or vocal ability to work with me. Of course, if you do have those skills, it's definitely a plus! But my focus is on creating music that is authentic and vulnerable regardless of your musical background.

Whether you come to me with a blank canvas or with ideas already in mind for what you want to write, I am always excited to embark on the songwriting journey with you. Together, we can create something truly special.

Do you have a great melody idea, a hilarious story or a catchy song title in your back pocket? Now’s your chance to turn it into a song! Experience a true Nashville co-write with an experienced songwriter. You’ll discover what it’s like to be in the writing room and create your own song! Bring as much or as little as you’d like to the table and I’ll guide you through the process of crafting lyrics, melodies and music. I’ll let you in on the secrets to writing great songs and answer questions about the business. I may even have some talented friends stop by whom you might recognize from The Voice or American Idol! No prior experience is necessary. At the end of the experience we’ll create a work tape, which simply put is a "rough" recording of your song with a vocal and instrument backing, at the end of the session for you to take home (digitally). If you’re interested in having your song professionally produced, then I'm always happy to connect you with several producers I know outside of this experience. These can be done in person or over video/voice calls. Everyone has a story to tell. Let’s put yours to music!

"Our experience with Jessica was the highlight of our trip to Nashville and absolutely a core memory for my eleven year old son and me. Jessica contacted me immediately after I reached out and she was so great about getting to know us, particularly our son. We visited Jessica the day after an incredible Coldplay concert, and she turned what was already a magical trip into something truly unforgettable. Jessica is a natural born songwriter who is also genuinely gifted with children. What struck me most was how quickly she recognized that our son is a deep thinker, and she encouraged him to channel those thoughts into music. She helped him get a song out that had been brewing inside him, guiding him through the song writing process with such patience and insight bearing in mind he had never written a song before!! The personal touches Jessica added made the experience even more special - she made cookies for our son, which showed the care and thoughtfulness she brings to every session. It wasn't just about the music; she created a warm, welcoming environment where creativity could flourish. I can't recommend Jessica enough. I think she unlocked a new passion for my child, and that has been amazing to witness. We had the absolute joy of working with Jessica the day after we got engaged, and the experience was nothing short of magical. Jessica is warm, thoughtful, and wildly talented. Even with zero songwriting experience, she made the process feel effortless and fun. Together, we created a beautiful, smart, and incredibly catchy song that perfectly captures our love story. We haven’t stopped singing it since. She even helped my fiancé arrange a live performance of the song the next day, which made everything even more special. I came in with an idea of a song that had deep meaning and vulnerability attached to it. Jessica listened to my story and was keen to ask more questions about my journey. She helped me craft a song that reflected my original intention plus intertwined personal elements that I would not have thought to add. Overall it felt like a piece that reflected my struggles and my message and the song came out even better than my original idea. Jessica created a safe space for me to express pieces of myself that I'm still working through to this day. I'm exceptionally happy that my song had a chance to breathe life through the help of her. She even helped walk me through the structure and elements that make up a song along with informing me of her overall process. I highly recommend Jessica for your next song-writing experience.

What a beautiful soul! Got to meet Jessica while visiting Nashville. She's a great brainstorming partner and showed me her process. I loved sitting at the piano with her, finding the 'hook'. I loved watching and listening to her work. I took a bunch of notes and I learned that writing can come from anywhere and at anytime. I'm grateful that she's started me on this journey. I can't wait to show her what I've come up with! TY for an amazing experience and unlocking the creative in me.

Jesica and I did a 3 hour lesson and not only did we write a song, we were able to create a entire melody with that. I truly appreciate Jesicas work to help me write my first song. I plan to stay in touch with her even though I live in a different state.

This song writing experience with Jessica was amazing! It was so much fun to see the lyrics to my song come alive with a melody! The melody that Jessica created for the lyrics to my song were heart felt and perfect! She knew exactly how to find the perfect notes for the words in my song! I had such a great time hearing her sing the lyrics and us turning it into a beautiful song!

Jessica and the songwriting experience was amazing! I can’t say enough amazing things about it. From start to finish, first being educated on the process then being able to take our own life experiences and create a song out of it-WOW! Jessica is so talented, I was blown away. Our experience with Jessica was the highlight of our trip to Nashville and absolutely a core memory for my nine year old daughter and me. Jessica is a natural born song writer who is also gifted with children. She helped my daughter create a beautiful song all about our mother daughter weekend together. I can't recommend her enough. We took our teenage son who loves country music to Nashville for his birthday. This songwriting experience was his absolute favorite part of our entire trip! Jessica is incredibly welcoming and put him to ease right away. He was able to openly share ideas and thoughts as she guided him to completing a song that he had been working on for some time. The song was very personal for him and Jessica helped him navigate the story in a very special way. Jordan truly loved the experience and learned a lot about techniques for writing great songs. At the end of the session, we were invited in to hear them perform the song. It was such a wonderful moment and one we will all treasure for years to come. This experience is a MUST DO for any songwriter!
