Guests will be required to sign a rental contract at check in and leave a refundable damage deposit of $500.00 per vehicle.
Car seats are required for infants 5 years and younger available at extra cost.
Roundtrip transportation is ONLY included from the cruise port.
Vehicle gasoline must be returned as received.
Guests should arrive at meeting location 15 minutes prior to start time.

You will cover lots of ground and capture a real feel for life in Nassau, the most amazing island of the Bahamas. You can drive-by and visit the Queen's Staircase, a stone stairway of 65 steps, one for each year of Queen Victoria’s rule; The Water Tower, built in 1928 to maintain water pressure in Nassau; Arawak Cay, named after the original West Indian inhabitants of the islands; the local hangout referred to as the “Fish fry,” which is a cluster of popular restaurants and bars where you can find Bahamian delicacies and one-of-a-kind drinks. You can drive to Fort Charlotte, the largest and most interesting of the three forts found in Nassau. The fort was built in 1789 by Lord Dunmore and named in honor of the wife of King George III. You can also choose to visit Bahamar, the newest and largest development in the Bahamas where you will find some of the most popular hotel chains. You can visit the Caves, formerly known to house the ‘Lucayans,’ residents who lived on the islands of the Bahamas around the 10th century until the Christopher Columbus time. The Caves are now home for the Buffy Flower Bat also known as the Fruit Bat Old Fort Bay, a gated community where many celebrities reside such as Sean Connery from the famous James Bond movies, should definitely be on your places to visit in Nassau. Your Buggy rental will conclude at its departure point.

5.00It could not of gone any better. I got off the boat, said to a lady asking if anyone needs a taxi, "where do I go for bowcar". She opened a gate then they were right there ready to go. A shuttle arrived in about 10 minutes and took as to pick up the sxs. They ran through everything and quickly knowing I wanted maximum time to explore the island on my day in port. It had some minor scraches and a couple small broken trim pieces, but they pointed out everything, and none affected our use for the day. We also loved the bluetooth speaker and having our own vehicle was so much better than waiting on a bus tour to explore. It also made us quick so we beat the crowds to the high tourist spots like the rum cake factory and queens staircase vs walking the island. I will not visit the island again without this option. 100% just do it and make your own journey. Also, when you pick up, they give you a nice list of cool places to visit already loaded into google maps. You just pick the place you want to see. This saved time trying to figure out were else we wanted to go.

5.00Download your adventure BEFORE you leave the states. Internet is sketchy. We paid just $10 bucks more to rent a Garmin, although, it wasn’t correct with one way streets, we would not have been able to navigate the island without it. Six hours is a lot longer than you think. Plan big and explore!!!!! Nassau has so much history. Historic churches, school, graveyards, zoo, statues, historic markers, several forts, a cave. We utilized the entire six hours. On the island, they pump your gas for you. Make sure you look at the pump because the intendant tried to rip us off two separate times getting gas. Let’s see you give them $10. They will put seven in it and hope you don’t look at the gas pump and then try to play stupid. It’s not a mistake because it happened each time we got gas so pay attention to get your money is worth because gas was $5.25 a gallon on the day we went. You got to bring your Polaris back with the same amount of gas you took it with so for instance, we put $10 in it and we literally drove the entire day. Stopping randomly to tour forts and get some snapshots of church etc. but I guarantee you we had easily five hours of constant driving in that buggy, and we didn’t even use 10 bucks of gas. 5.00Free shuttle from the port. Great time cruising around. Can am ran great. The girl that checked us in was super helpful. Only thing I recommend is to make sure your Google Maps is ready to work offline.

5.006 hour rental! New inventory buggies. Worked perfectly all day long on all of the streets and highways. Superb staff assisting you for setting a great day. Set up port pick up and drop off for free!! Reserve direct and skip the shore excursion expense! Best way to see Nassau!

4.00Was different driving on a different side of the road. It was fun. The staff was amazing. The vehicle was nice. They gave us 4 different destinations to go to. A backroad guide would have been helpful. If you are just driving around you might enjoy a rental car.

5.00We picked up our Buggy from the office and visited some spots on the island. The buggy was perfect for our tour along the coast. The ladies in the office are absolutely friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend Bowcar Nassau.

4.00As far as the activity (driving a jeep/buggy around the beach), I completely recommend! As far as using this company, I don’t necessarily have the same opinion. We struggled to find the pick up place (don’t use the address noted in the emails from viator)!!! You’re way better off asking a Nassau ambassador how to find the kiosks. The staff working at the front of the kiosk were busy signing other people up for same day rentals and we had to wait 25+ minutes for a shuttle to take us to the pick up site for our rental. We didn’t get that lost time back on our reservation time (we didn’t ask for it, but we had hoped the company would offer it). Families who had just signed up (same day rental) were directed to the shuttle before us. When we asked for an eta and pointed out our reservation had already started, one staff member rolled her eyes. The general impression we got was that the staff doesn’t like to work through third party companies like viator. They don’t get a commission or tips from our buy via Viator. The customer service provided to us felt substandard in comparison to others around us. Other staff were fine, the shuttle driver was friendly and reset the mood. No issue with the rental itself and it worked ok! Drop off was easy.

5.00Do yourself a favor and book a “buggy” with Bowcar , you will not be sorry ! Get away from all the tourists and see the east side of the island and experience Nassau like a local .

5.00Everything was great! Easy to find, right off the pier; staff was welcoming and friendly. The equipment was almost like new and in great working conditions, they provided us with a most see map and that was very helpful. Definitely recommend using Bowcar for your Nassau UTV rentals
