5.00Our guide Iana was charming, informative about Romanian art. The tour lasted two hours and we were given time to walk round and view the artwork, about which Iana was very keen to garner our opinion. A splendid visit.

I discovered new information about the beginnings of modern painting in Romania and gained a new perspective on art. 5.00We had such a great time at the National Museum of Art thanks to our wonderful guide, Iana! She was super friendly, full of energy, and made the whole tour so interesting. Every painting had a story, and she explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and fun. You can tell she loves what she does, and it made us enjoy the museum so much more. Iana was a great tour guild and was extremely passionate about the art that was on display in the art museum. Ask for additional information following the tour. Very knowledgeable about art and designs in the area.

The medieval rooms are meditative, while the 19th and 20th century sections reveal a dynamic, evolving Romanian voice in art. After many busy museums across Europe, this one felt personal and almost poetic.
