Loved our tour and seeing the inland parts of the island. It gave us a lovely glimpse into day to day life in the mountain areas. Well worth the half day trip away from the beaches. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour in terms of length of time and variety of stops. Thanos was an excellent tour guide, excellent use of English combining humour with relevant information and historical significance. Gorgious was an excellent driver, felt very safe. Would highly recommend this excursion.

This tour was inexpensive and totally worth it! The tour guide was amazing and had great knowledge on the area. We rented a car in Naxos but so happy to have done the tour and not travel the narrow roads ourselves. The bus has AC and is a great way to get around. Get to meeting point a little early- they are leaving at the time listed.

The itinerary for this tour is exceptionally well planned — thoughtfully curated and perfectly paced for the amount of time my wife and I wanted to explore parts of Naxos beyond Chora Old Town, where we’ve now spent a total of twenty nights since July 2024. The highlights of the itinerary for my wife and me were: Demeter's Temple, which we found fascinating; the Church of Drosiani; Melanes Kouros of Flerio; and Chalki, the former Capital of Naxos. Our guide, Dimitris, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Naxos and its remarkable history. His informative commentary became even more interesting as the tour progressed. Our bus driver (whose name I unfortunately don’t recall) was careful, calm, and highly skilled — something we especially appreciated on the winding mountain roads and higher‑elevation sections of the route. For the price we paid, we believe the Naxos Half Day History and Culture Guided Tour offers exceptional value. It delivered far more than we expected. We both highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to understand Naxos beyond the beaches and the Old Town.
