Naxos is really a big island to see everything in one day.What we offer you is the chance to see the highlights of Naxos in an 8h tour so you ll get an overall idea what Naxos is about,its history,its past and its present.
Especially about the north part of the island , driving on those whirlwind narrow streets isn t as easy as it seems and what we offer is the oppportunity to travel in safety and enjoy a day on the island.
On Tuesdays ,because archeological sites are closed, instead of Demeter s temple we visit Panagia Drosiani church ,the oldest in Balcan peninsula ans spend more time at Chalki and Apiranthos

Temple of Demeter
Our experienced escort on the way to the site in the bus will give you information about Demeter temple and there you ll pay your entrance fee ticket (4€ pp in cash only) and underyour escort s guidance you ll visit first the temple and then the museum located there. On Tuesdays this site is closed so instead you will visit Bazeos Tower ,former monastery of 16th cen AD and nowadays cultural centre (5 Euro pp entrance fee)
Along with your escort , after walking in the heart of the village you ll visit the tradistional olivepress where your escort will explain how the olive oil procedure was years ago and then together you ll enjoy a live demonstation at the traditional pottery workshop. Here you ll learn what is sfouni or the cup of justice.

4.00Was a full day experience, worth the money! Irene and Spiros were knowledgeable and friendly. The highlights of it were demeters temple and apollonas kouros, the stop in apollonas seemed a little dragged out but it was on the way to the statue. The bus ac was not the strongest so just keep that in mind! My fiance usually got car sick on the city busses in naxos but Spiros driving was great and she felt fine! Great alternative if you're nervous to drive on small windy roads

5.00Excellent tour of Naxos! Our guide and bus driver were very knowledgeable and helpful. We stopped at several neat villages and had an amazing lunch. The views were spectacular!

4.00This tour basically circumnavigates the island. You spend roughly 4 hours at the various stops and 4 hours riding the bus on very narrow, twisting mountain roads. Our bus driver, Dimitri, was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable about each stop as well as various points of interest during the drive. The stops were varied enough that most people will find something of interest. There was definitely a lot of activity packed into an 8 hour tour. The itinerary description provided in the listing is accurate. Several of the stops included stairs, uneven terrain, and moderately steep paths. Sufficient time is allowed for slow walkers to participate. The tour was definitely a good value for the fee charged.

4.00We had a great day exploring Naxos. Our guide Eric was very good--informative, personable, easily understood. He gave interesting details and history, but without droning on constantly (like what we have experienced on some other excursions). The stops were interesting and varied. Highly recommend for getting an overview of this beautiful island.

5.00A full day with visits to a number of key sights on Naxos representing a great introduction to the island. Excellent guide (+ an assistant) and driver in a comfortable coach. The roads are challenging in places and I was glad not to have rented a car on this, our first, visit. If in doubt go for it!

5.00This trip is a good way to explore the beautiful island which is quite large. The tour covered the hills, villages and seaside . It does not cover the old town near the port and Apollo temple , which can be explored on your own. Joseph's English accent was easy to understand and he was sweet enough to bring me next day, my water bottle which I had forgotten in one village store. My only suggestion is that the guests

5.00We took the highlights of Naxos tour today, sept 28th with vickie(our guide) and george(our driver) It’s was a fun informative day with lots of stops in pretty villages, and areas of historical interest, including a pottery demo & an old olive press. Lots of lovely scenery, and interesting facts about Naxos. Our guide Vickie was really lovely, knowledgable & friendly, and gave recommendations on where to eat lunch. A very enjoyable day, great value for money Thank you Vickie & George for a great day out
