Cruising down the Mississippi River on a classic steamboat while listening to live jazz was such a memorable New Orleans experience. The ride was the perfect mix of fun and history, we loved learning about the river, the city, and the role the Mississippi played in shaping New Orleans. The jazz band was absolutely phenomenal and made the whole atmosphere feel so authentic and lively. Between the music, the views, and the history, it was one of our favorite things we did in the city!

Does exactly as expected. A tick list trip on the Mississippi on a paddle boat. Good value. We chose not to eat on board.

I loved every second of this! It was peaceful, educational, and entertaining. The food was great and was sold at a good price. I would recommend this to everyone visiting New Orleans!

We had a great time on the steamboat Natchez. The boat is beautiful and it’s very well organized for short tours. We saw a lot of the city and some of the surrounding areas. The tour announcer gave us fun and interesting information along the way.

We had a great time! We sat outside on the first part of the trip listening to the narration. On the way back we sat inside and listed to some great live music. There was coffee to warm you up on the rainy afternoon. I would highly recommend

That the gift shop closes before the ship docks and although an announcement is made, you won't be able to hear if you sit in the back where the food is served. They sell ponchos there. If it rains, you will have to walk in the rain to get down the ramp. The ponchos were very convient. I found out the hard way not only the gift shop had closed but there was actually someone inside who literally ignored me while I stood on the rain. It would have been very customer service centric for her to allow me to purchase ponchos while she was still in there. I knocked on the windows and asked if I could grab some ponchos and I had cash and it was for 3 elderly people. They continued to insist "Well they made the announcement!" I said it's ok. No, I am not upset about the gift shop closing. What I am upset about is, they walked around in the rain trying to sell pictures it would have been great if they could have had them deliver the message or have someone walk around offering us the ponchos with the amount of rain we had to tackle. And I am upset of the response and treatment I received when I tried to purchase the ponchos. So, by all means, make sure you get your ponchos early. If it is raining. Get them early. I had no idea they sold them until I saw others with them on.

It was a nice relaxing ride with music and drinks. The boat had tables out on the deck or you could sit inside.
