Our first stop along the route. We pause in the water for a photo op. Note that you do NOT leave the boat. Rising from Liberty Island, this symbol of freedom stands 305 feet tall. Lady Liberty was a gift from France in 1886 representing democracy and friendship between the two nations.

    I saw so many exciting 😍 landmarks and got the best pictures !! The awesome crew helped me with pictures and facts. Thank you Jose and Mario! Many more but I didn't get all their names! Quick check in with low prices. Drinks and snacks available for purchase on the boat. Highly recommend the views on this particular tour. It encompasses so much!

    The fact that you couldn’t sit down on outside seats unless you paid almost double the ticket price for the “vip” was a slap in the face. I felt like I was taken advantage of - if I had known this before purchasing the ticket, I would have gone with another company.

    I enjoyed the cruise. Timing and all.The guide lady made the cruise very interesting and educative.We enjoyed the snacking.It was nice and affordable.I wish I will visit again.We took pictures with our own phones.I requested the guide for photo.She introduced me to the official photographer.He snapped me some photos.Unfortunately,I don’t get copies even via instagram he claimed.😃I hope I will get it soon.

    Well I’m from nyc and I never saw the Statue of Liberty that close it was amazing and fun and my daughters first time on a boat made it even more amazing it was a great experience

    The boat tour itself was lovely. Our guide was friendly and funny and we enjoyed the tour. The interactions with staff prior to the boat tour left a lot to be desired. When we showed up, we were told that the tickets we purchased were only good for the main level of the boat, and if we wanted to sit on the top of the boat and have unobstructed views, we needed to pay $20/ person for the VIP package. We paid the additional cost, then lined up to board. A crew member came around and said “it’s time to check bags for food and beverages”. I was traveling with my children, one of which has a food allergy, so I always carry safe snacks for her. I was told that I could not bring anything on board, even if I promised not to eat my outside food on the boat. I told him that I would be fine with him securing it somewhere on the boat but that was not acceptable to him. He said that I had to leave it at the dock- literally on a picnic table out in the open in NYC. I told him I didn’t feel safe leaving food for my child sitting on a table out in the open in the city. He shrugged and walked away. He called a supervisor over who said that since my child had food allergies, we’d be allowed to take the snacks on board. It really soured our experience to get hit with additional fees that were not shared up front, coupled with the debacle about keeping snacks for my child in my bag. Most people traveling with small children probably have some type of snack in their bag for if their child gets hungry. Know that it will be an issue for you to carry that with you on board if you take this boat tour.
