Had a fabulous time on the Madeline with Shanan, Sydney, and Austin. They were truly friendly and knowledgeable. The sunset was fabulous! They showed us Hammersmith farm among other things. One tidbit is Jackie’s mom upon selling the house she kept the guest houses.. She lived in one called the castle and died there. Hugh D Auchincloss, Jackie’s stepbrother owned the windmill and it’s still privately owned separate from house. The furnishings of the main house after it closed for tours in 1999 were auctioned off with half of those furnishings going back to the family.

Great crew and smooth ride. Crew was friendly and knowledge able. Crust was as described. It was a cold evening and blankets were provided. Only the weather did not cooperate.

Great hosts and very friendly atmosphere, informational and fun pointing out local landmarks. The guides (Colin I think?) were entertaining and kind as well
