1.00You need to opt for the extra activities to make the tour worthwhile which I did and paid for. But when I got to the tour there was no way to redeem the Viator vouchers so I had to pay an extra $140 for activities i had already paid for.

5.00A fantastic tour! Haroon was a fantastic guide, providing lots of helpful information, detailed instructions and recommendations (trust him about the maple chicken burger for lunch!). All of the add-ons (behind the falls, boat tour and the tower) are well worth the money.

5.00Tour was punctual. Our tour guide Shaz had a crips understandable voice. He was very kind, patient and thorough in explanations. The cruise to the Falls was the highlight of the day and the maple syrup tasting was super fun!

3.00Probably only worthwhile if you're doing the boat trip and Skylon tower. I appreciate traffic can't be helped, but 1h 50 minutes at the Falls out of a 9h 30 minute trip feels very disproportionate. Most of the trip felt geared towards only those doing the boat trip. With better organisation for those not doing the add-ons, this would have been much better. The 40 minutes spent at the Skylon Tower is dead time if you're not going up as there's virtually nothing to do except sit in Starbucks, which could have been time spent at the Falls. We also had to spend time needlessly driving round the falls when we first arrived so the driver could hand boat cruise tickets to another driver - given we had lost over an hour of free time at the falls it would have been nice for the driver to drop those not doing the boat trip off at the end of the falls, instead of close to the boat trip entrance. Clearly the tour is there to drum up add-ons, we were asked several times if we were sure we didn't want to do the boat cruise. En route it was "who's excited for the boat cruise" and afterwards it was "so who enjoyed the boat cruise", as opposed to who enjoyed Niagara falls, which again felt odd given that the whole point we were there. Niagara Falls was amazing nonetheless and the driver/host was good - just the trip itself was a bit of a letdown.
