If you’re shy about trying Korean cuisine or want some background this is a great tour especially if you’re short on time and want to try more dishes. I would say a little pricey for what you’re getting, but I left full. You stop by a few restaurants and share family style with a few others in your group. I wish there was more explanation of the other food stalls we didn’t try so that I knew more about them when I try them on my own. The place you meet is kind of in the way and not much coverage when there’s rain so I wish the guide would of had us move once we arrived and that he’d arrive sooner given the emphasis on timeliness. Overall, good tour for a newbie to Korean food.

The Night Market Food Tour was truly amazing—hands down one of the most memorable and impactful experiences of our time in South Korea! Our guide, Jacob, was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and the perfect ambassador for Korea. By the end of the night, it felt like we were hanging out with a group of our closest friends. Over the course of the evening, we tried 14 incredible street foods and drinks—each one better than the last. Highlights included Mayak Kimbap (aptly nicknamed “addiction kimbap”), spicy Tteokbokki, steaming Kimchi Mandu, knife-cut Kalguksu noodles, crispy Nokdu pancakes, savory meatball pancakes, tender raw beef, and even live octopus! We sipped Makgeolli, Soju, and beer, finished with twisted donuts, Yakgwa cookies, Bibimbap, and rich Ddukbulgogi soup. There is absolutely no way we could have found and enjoyed all of these dishes on our own—Jacob took us to hidden spots we never would have discovered, sharing history, culture, and fun stories along the way. The portions were so generous we could barely finish everything, but we happily tried it all. If you’re visiting Seoul, do not miss this tour—it will leave you full, happy, and with unforgettable memories.
