Guide
Standing at the North Cape, 307 meters above the Arctic Ocean, is both humbling and unforgettable. The vast view over the Barents Sea, where sky and sea blend into infinity, gives a true sense of being at the edge of the world. By the iconic globe monument, you’ll feel the power of nature and the silence of the Arctic. Looking north, Greenland and Svalbard lie beyond the horizon – a reminder of the great unknown. This is a must-have photo stop and the highlight of any Arctic journey.
Nordkapphallen
Inside the North Cape Hall Your visit includes access to the North Cape Hall, a unique visitor center built into the cliffside. Here, you can watch a stunning panoramic film showcasing the dramatic Arctic seasons, explore historical exhibitions, and reflect in the peaceful St. John’s Chapel. Don’t miss the Cave of Lights art installation or the chance to send a postcard from the world’s northernmost post office. It’s the perfect way to deepen your North Cape experience – indoors and out.

Well organised, although we booked individual tickets we were all put on a bus which was on the terminal with the guide waiting for us. Our Guide Simon ,was great with a very informative commentary and some good humour. We visited a fishing village and had a couple of stops on the way up the mountain to see the view and meet some locals at their small souviner shop. We had plenty of time to explore at the North Cape visitors centre , have a coffee ad look through the excellent souvenir shop. Very good commentary on the way back on the history of Iceland . We all enjoyed this trip, highly recommend. The views are spectacular and we saw many Reindeer on the way.

Great tour. Our guide was excellent. Being a local he was able to share experiences of growing up in the area. Added a lot to the overall experience. Well done. The company was prompt in answering questions beforehand too.

Wonderful tour. Would have preferred less time (or skip it) at the fishing village and artist - 30 minutes would have been more than enough time. Then add five more minutes at the Sami gift shop and ten more minutes at The North Cape. Also it would have been nice to go to The cape first to avoid the crowds. Allow 20 minutes to stand in line to get a picture at the globe. It would have been nice to have two hours so we could walk around more because the weather was so nice. The tour guide gave a lot of information during the drive and answered questions. Don’t miss the movie, bird exhibit, and chapel on the lower floors of the building. The weather was absolutely fantastic on 5 Aug 2025.

Going to the North Cape is an experience. The tour I booked was advertised as “for children”. It was the usual tour with a stop in one of the two villages on the way to the North Cape and a super short stop at a souvenir shop of the seeds along with a foro shoot with a seed and its reindeer.
