Salamis
Salamis was the capital of Cyprus as far back as 1100 B.C. Located on the eastern coast of the island of Cyprus, it was a commercial hub that offered a rich and vibrant city life to its inhabitants. It have been ruled by various dominant powers over the course of its history, including Assyrians, Egyptians, Persians, and Romans. At one point during the Roman period, Salamis was the largest city in Cyprus, where more than 150.000 people used to live in. Today the city offers its visitors a magnificent sites to visit ranging from Roman theatre and the Gymnasium with thermal baths and a glimpse into the history of the island.
Famagusta Walled City
The old city of Famagusta is surrounded by the historical walls and is often described as an open air museum with its famous St. Nicholas Cathedral along with many other historical monuments.

5.00It’s a long and fascinating day! I saw thousands of years of history packed into one day. My guide was amazing and I felt like I was spending the day with a friend. There is more history in Northern Cyprus and my only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!

5.00My wife and I met our guide, also our driver, at the Ledra checkpoint crossing on the Turkish side. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a detailed history of Cyprus as well as descriptions of the many sites we toured. From Nicosia, we drove about 2 hours to Kyrenia, stopping for lunch nearby. The Kyrenia harbor and castle were highlights! The tour was comprehensive and enjoyable! We were back at the checkpoint on time. It was more than worth the cost!

5.00The trip was put together well lots of information in a short time. I had a feeling that I got a good overview of each area, the history information was not too in-depth- just right. Lunch was Great and we Even had some time to explore by ourselves, worth it

5.00The guide had so much valuable knowledge to share — history, local life, and the many unique places in Cyprus. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, felt safe thanks to the careful driving, and appreciated that everything ran according to schedule. Most of all, the guide was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly smart. Highly recommended!

5.00Sebnem was such a sweet guide! She waited right outside the crossing and she identified me immediately! She rearranged the itinerary so that I could end at a spot nearer to where I was staying and taxi fare would be cheaper. Very nice chats on the way and she was really nice and went all the way to get me olive oil! She was also very knowledgeable and I enjoy our exchanges! If you are pressed for time do this tour, you will see everything in a day! I came for culture and history!

5.00Good tour to discover all the highlights in Northern Cyprus. Cemal was a nice tour guide who could explain everything to us and answer all our questions. The great thing is that you are completely unburdened and receive background information about everything.

5.00This was an interesting and varied itinerary in the company of an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We drove our hire car to Nicosia and used the very convenient Munical Car Park at the Ledra Palace Crossing Point (10hrs for €8). Crossing into Northern Cyprus was straightforward and fast. Sebnem met us with her car and led us through the ancient and modern history of 3 Northern Cyprus cities - Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia. On the way we enjoyed a delicious lunch (included) at Bellapais Abbey above the picturesque port of Kyrenia. An excellent day which made us many memories and gave us much to reflect on.

5.00We really enjoyed this Northern Cyprus tour and would recommend this tour to someone that has limited time in Cyprus. Sedat was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job guiding us around the northern part of the Island. The tour was just the right length with enough time at each stop. Sedat's vehicle was clean, comfortable and we were very glad of the AC. Lunch was plentiful and very good.

5.00Full day trip with private guide was a hit. The guide spoke fairly good Dutch and showed us beautiful and interesting muzea, archaeological sites without overloading us with thorough information. Lunch was also nicely sought and local; tasty! After almost 10 hours we said goodbye to the fine and pleasant lady.
