Welcome, Greenlander welcomes you on the most adventurous Northern Lights chase in the Northern Norway. You will be guided by a pro photographer (see proof from our Instagram or Facebook page,) who will safely take you around the perimeter on a 4x4 modified Mercedes Benz minivan.
The tour consists central pickup, home made soup, hot drinks, tripods, thermal suit, boots, campfire(if conditions allow,) Aurora portraits and so much more.
Greenlander has a reputation of not giving up and therefore having one of the highest success rates in the business, around 95%-98% chance of catching the elusive Northern Lights. Please consider, the weather can be harsh and sometimes we have to chase for hours, before we can even see first stars. This tour might not suit for elder, obese and unfit participants, as sometimes we hike in a snow and our minivan is rather compact compared to bigger buses used by other companies.

5.00I’ve been on Northern Lights tours with Greenlander in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and every single trip was a success! We always saw the lights, and the photos were absolutely amazing. But the best part is the guide, Markus ..he’s truly one of a kind! So kind, caring, and dedicated to giving everyone an unforgettable experience. Just to be clear, I’m talking about Greenlander, not Green Adventure — Greenlander is the one I highly recommend!

5.00Hand was an amazing guide and very passionate about his work which made the experience for the rest of us that much better. The lights sell themselves for how amazing they are and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If I’m ever back in tromso I would definitely book with them again

5.00What a night! Markus found us some remote stunning locations to view the northern lights away from the big crowds and tour groups and the aurora danced all night for us. Would highly recommend this tour over any other. His level of attention to his craft and us guests was unparalleled from what I’ve seen here so far.

5.00We managed to get a cancellation for Monday 13th October and following a hectic journey into Tromso met up with Hans, our guide for the evening. The forecast was good and we didn't have the long drive some others have had. We had a short stop then parked in a small layby next to a lake facing some mountains. For the next hours we were entertained by both the northern lights and Hans. He loves photographing the lights and it was plain to see that he has so much passion for what he does. Snacks were eaten, a fire was lit, a little scientific explanation was given, but it was all about the lights and we had an unforgettable display for most of the evening. We stopped at a petrol station on the way out of our route with decent snack options and public toilets- for those unsure if there is a break in the journey

5.00Our tour guide was Markus. He was amazing and had a lot of experience and knowledge. He made sure to get us the right spots, but also prioritized our safety by avoiding going through the more dangerous routes because of possible black ice. Once he picked our spot he set the mood right and made a campfire and gave us some hot chocolate or tea with snacks to keep us warm and comfortable. His photography skills were great too! There were low chances for sightings that night, but he was able to figure out where to look and find something for us. Over all it was a long night, but great experience chasing the lights

5.00I can’t say enough good things about this experience with Hans. He was the perfect guide: calm, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and a truly gifted photographer. Despite rain and a tricky forecast, he read the sky like a pro, found a stable opening, and got us under the Northern Lights without even a long drive. He set up a cozy fire, served warm soup, shared fascinating insights, and helped us capture beautiful photos on our own cameras, then sent us his stunning shots afterward, which are absolutely magnificent. It was a magical night my partner and I will remember forever. The night far exceeded our expectations. I’d book this experience again without hesitation and recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Hans, for an unforgettable adventure!
