5.00It was a rainy night and we did not think we would get the opportunity to see the Aurora, but our amazing guide Jose didn’t give up. We ended up seeing the most amazing light show! So worth it!

1.00Guaranteed nothing. The tour was cancelled due to the whole region getting overcast in snow clouds. I took an uncomfortable 12 hour train ride and was greeted with tour cancelled in my email so I just slept disappointed at my Airbnb. It's going to be great when I get my $236 refunded, because almost two weeks later the money from this cancelled tour hasn't been refunded. If you want to see the Aurora Borealis give yourself at least a week in Lapland as had I stayed a third day there still would have been no viewing due to the weather. I won't be doing business with this company in the future. Nature wins, and businesses over promise.

5.00Our Northern Lights tour in Rovaniemi turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable experience. First of all, our tour guide Meshak was incredibly pleasant, professional, and clearly very experienced. He was a great and safe driver, made us feel comfortable the entire time, and even treated us to hot juice and muffins, which was such a nice touch in the cold. He also took beautiful photos of us under the Northern Lights — memories we will cherish forever. I have to admit that at first I was very upset when our tour got rescheduled. The weather during our trip to Rovaniemi was bad, and I was convinced that we wouldn’t see the Northern Lights at all. However, Meshak went above and beyond. He drove us for about 2.5 hours all the way to Sweden, determined to find clear skies for us. We ended up catching Northern Lights in two locations, definitely one of the most unforgettable nights in our lives!

5.00А wonderful experience. Our guide Nil was professional and devoted to find the best time and spot. We saw an amazing spectacle of the aurora. He took excellent pictures and made his best us to profit to the most of the journey. Very kind and responsive to the will of the group. Comfortable vehicle and nice snacks and drinks.

5.00Thanks to Mario, we were able to see the Northern Lights and the effects of a sunstorm in Sweden, even though conditions were not ideal. The dancing Northern Lights were stunningly beautiful to look at. The journey was also very comfortable, even though we travelled for almost three hours in one direction. It is important to dress warmly enough.
Good Guide, Poor Location Choice for Northern Lights

5.00We booked a Northern Lights hunting experience with Arctic GM. Our guide, George, was friendly, polite, and tried his best to assist us during the tour, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, we did not see the Northern Lights with the naked eye; they were only visible through long-exposure phone photos, which was disappointing considering the nature of the tour. Additionally, we stopped on the side of the road, where cars were passing frequently. This felt unsafe and also limited our ability to take good photos due to headlights and constant movement. For a Northern Lights experience, I strongly believe that stopping in a darker, quieter, and safer open area away from traffic would significantly improve both safety and the quality of the experience. Overall, while the guide was good and friendly, the location choice and execution of the tour need improvement to better meet expectations for Northern Lights hunting.
