The overall experience was great. We were met at Kigali airport on time and with knowledgeable guides, who escorted us during our entire visit in Africa. However I do have one issue that I must present and it was our stay at “Twin Lakes” resort. While the location is beautiful, the accommodations left much to be desired, with no electricity or hot water. I would not stay there again without hot water and electricity. Please advise the host of my issues.

There are 233 memorial centers in Rwanda. This one is in Nyamata. 45,000 people were killed in Nyamata alone and 10,000 in this church. There are rows and rows of clothes of the people who were killed during the genocide, including children's clothes :( Never, never again in any part of our world!

I am not sure if I had one favorite part of this trip. Rwanda is beautiful. Judith Safaris was professional and easy to work with. My tour guide, Joana was like family. The Memorial was sad but a tribute to those who lost their lives and, the future of a nation. I did not stay long enough. I plan to return and I plan to arrange my trip with Judith Safaris.
