  Unfortunately the snorkelling masks were too wide for my head and took on water. As a result I couldn’t see beneath the surface. I asked the crew, but no alternative was available. The land tour was pretty, but crowded. Good just for photos if that’s what interests you. Our guide couldn’t speak English soo we relied on ChatGPT to tell us about the places we visited. The food was modest in size but quite tasty. In general the staff were friendly and the tour was on time. For the price I wouldn’t recommend it, particularly in the wet season as no Mantas were seen by those who dived.

  

  

• Experience a little disappointing, this excursion perhaps deserves to be made with a private boat.

  Stormy sea .... It’s a bit of a factory, the rays were not there, and the different buddies are not charging each other. The staff is friendly. The views are beautiful but very touristy. Maybe an excursion to do differently.

  A lot of rubbish and plastic in the water, general areas and car parks would not recommend to others. Drove over poorly maintained road to get to the location for lunch. Our driver was a shocker he couldn’t drive to save his life

  Snorkeling is done on a boat full of people with very few safety rules. The spots to see its flooded with tourists and there is nothing to see. The afternoon visits concern ultra-tourist places made at the pace of races. Run away.

  Ot was an easy pick up and drop off. We felt very safe. There was a lot of travelling and thr snorkeling was a bit rushed , but it was a good , fun feeled day.

  Gokil anyway, this trip is really healing. From the start of snorkeling in Manta Bay to the ground spot, his vibes are really cool. The guide's very chill, no ribet, but we're still on the go. This price is a mindblowing experience, no debate at all. Fix is coming back!

  -We get driven from our hotel by a completely reckless driver, completely chaotic driving during rush hour traffic. -Every step of the way we are getting hearded like sheep. Very poor communication. We're just getting dropped off from spot to spot and eventually someone shouts something to split the group, take you somewhere else, repeat. English is the standard for international communication in Bali, and none of the workers really seemed to know any, which means communicating any instructions was extremely difficult. -They absolutely do not sterilize the snorkles between uses -We arrive on the snorkelling boat which was completely overcrowded. Then we set off with no life jackets??? Insane. We're driving through the waters with probably 6-10 foot/2-3 meter waves, the boat is bouncing all over, there's nowhere to hold on. We get to the first snorkelling spot where the waves are EVEN BIGGER and smashing against rock faces about 30 feet/10 meters away. Obviously, nobody felt safe going in so we didn't and we to the next spot. A real guide should NOT have even offered for us to swim at the spot at all!!!!! The next spot was better, but still really choppy waters. There were too many boats and people all over the place and the driver kept having to yell at people to get away from the motor which is still running!!! -Once we were on land, we got off the boat and left because we were so upset with our experience until then. To their credit, they did organise us a driver and accommodated us on an earlier boat. I cannot believe the reviews for this place, avoid!!!!

• Even for beginners, the snorkeling is a Bali must do.

  The boat and Snorkeling are brilliant; manta bay was up close and personal with the rays, land tour beautiful but spoilt by the roads way too rough.

  One of the worst tours I’ve ever done. Lots of people, bad organisation and not enough time to actually see/enjoy anything. Snorkelling: Too high waves for the manta point on our tour, so we skipped that one, but the waves were still so high that half the boat got sea sick and had to throw up - be careful if you are sea sick and definitely take a gum etc with you. ~25 people on one snorkelling boat. Snorkelling points were mediocre at best, 3 spots with ~ 20 mins each. Land tour: a sad joke. Way too many tourists on that island, there was a massive traffic jam because of all the tour cars. This lead to skipping one of the tree stops and having literally 5 and 15 mins for the other two. So at best it’s a stop for a photo tour. No walking around, no going down to the beach. To top it off, the roads were so bad that we were literally bouncing around painfully in the vehicle the entire time for an hour between each brief stop, honestly even worse than the boat. I’d definitely not do this tour again or recommend to anyone. Maybe the snorkelling if weather is good so that you can actually see mantas - not sure how often the waves are too high to go there. On top of this the waves were also too high to go back to Sanur so the ferry was delayed and we were brought to Padang Bai instead - this is not the tour operators fault, just the weather not permitting safe travel but be aware that this might be the case and don’t plan to take this tour before strict schedules to continue your journey.

  Our trip was organized by Elrey. We were unlucky. The sea was far too rough today so snorkeling was only possible in one place. At sea there were towering waves, which was quite exciting. I myself asked for a life jacket which did not close properly. We were very happy when we were back on land. The guide we had was friendly but told nothing by himself. Lunch was nothing short of awful. You don't give your pet this yet. To top it off, the boat was unable to return to Sanur. The waves in the harbor were too strong, making it impossible to dock. The only port that was open was in Padangbai. This is where we sailed. After waiting for a long time (over an hour) we were able to dock with a lot of difficulty (strong current). The taxi transport was well arranged by Elrey, but the driver showed very (!) dangerous driving. In short, it was a day of adventure. Be aware that this can happen.
