Ella Train Journey is Considered as one the most beautiful train rides in the world. Here we give our travelers the opportunity to reserve seat from latest blue train (which is the most famous one).
We deliver all the tickets to your hotel in Nuwaraeliya or Kandy. Please make sure to mention the name of the hotel in your booking or send us a whatsapp message later with your BR number.

Real ticket is a necessary to travel and we deliver it to you by 9.00 am of the travel date. Time can be varies with the number of bookings handled by the delivery team.

Ella Train Trips
Ella Train Journey is considered as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. Most scenic part of the journey starts after Nuwaraeliya (Nanuoya) It creates very beautifully, green scenery from the moment you start the journey till you reach the end. The train travels among the hill areas/mountains, tea estates, over the rivers & waterfalls, etc. Train is operating daily and what you receive is the ticket from Nuwaraeliya (Nanuoya) to Ella with reserved seats (Seat number is printed on the ticket) Tickets will be allocated from 2nd or 3rd class reserved coaches depending on the availability. There is no much difference between the two classes as both comes with openable windows where you can enjoy the best of the scenic journey. Only the passengers with reserved seats are allowed to travel in this train and no standing passengers. Therefore train is not getting crowded as the ordinary coaches with unreserved seats.

1.00Tickets booked EN had contact with Mahaweli tours a number of times via whatsapp. DE ticket would be delivered to the hotel 1 day before departure at 19:00. At 18:30 I get the message that they have not been able to get tickets. It is already too late to be able to EN cancel DE booking and get your money back, so now we have to wait and see if that will still happen. (Also make sure that your passport number will be on DE tickets if you do get tickets because they check strictly on DE train.) So I would not book with Mahaweli if you want to be sure of train tickets on DE desired day!

1.00We ordered tickets in time from this company because you can't buy tickets yourself, they are bought DEN by companies like this so they can resell it for 5x the price. Still booked, passport details etcetera passed on. Then DE and she said that tickets would be delivered to our hotel, turned out not to be so, we got a pdf'je the dat in advance. Both the starting station and the passport number were incorrect (shown EN complete and DEr local passport number), so were refused at the station and had to buy a new ticket for less than 1 euro instead of the +25 euro tickets. As a result, we were not sitting on a reserved DE seat on the train but we were pressed together in a Third Party coupe. The booked ticket was of no use to us EN except for a lot of stress and a terrible trip
