Diamond Head State Monument
Our first point of interest takes us to beautiful Diamond Head Lookout, where you will be able to catch the end of the sunrise. The surf is almost always up at Diamond Head beach, so you can watch the surfers and see other Hawaiian Islands on a clear Day. *Please understand that this stop is not the Diamond Head State Monument that is inside of the crater. Another name for this location is the Amelia Earhart Lookout.
Kahala
After the Diamond Head Lookout, our second point of interest is the Gold Coast in Kahala. This area is like the Beverly Hills of Hawaii. You will see unbelievably large and luxurious properties and expansive estates that are owned by movie stars, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and of course doctors and lawyers. Definitely an interesting sight to take in.

1.00An island tour like this is great if you have never been here. You get a wonderful overall look at this beautiful place. But your overall experience depends on your driver. Our driver was more focused on telling us all of his achievements, his political views and about how his family are all island legends, to the point where we drove right past areas on our tour without a mention from him. Not only that, he didn’t stop talking, at all, for 10 straight hours. Picture a cross between a drill sergeant, a high school football coach, a crabby teacher and Napoleon Dynamite’s Uncle Rico talking about how great he was back in the day. My iPhone actually gave me a loud environment warning, thats how loud he was yelling into the microphone. All. Day. Long. When we finally got back to our drop off spot, I felt like I had been in a car wreck.

1.00I booked this tour for my first full day on the island. Two days before, they asked me to reschedule it, so I moved my plans around so I could. Then the day before my rescheduled tour they canceled again and asked me to reschedule but I didn’t have any more days left in my trip so I asked for a refund. I was not refunded and did not get to go on the tour because they canceled on me.
