Diamond Head State Monument
Our first point of interest takes us to beautiful Diamond Head Lookout, where you will be able to catch the end of the sunrise. The surf is almost always up at Diamond Head beach, so you can watch the surfers and see other Hawaiian Islands on a clear Day. *Please understand that this stop is not the Diamond Head State Monument that is inside of the crater. Another name for this location is the Amelia Earhart Lookout.
Kahala
After the Diamond Head Lookout, our second point of interest is the Gold Coast in Kahala. This area is like the Beverly Hills of Hawaii. You will see unbelievably large and luxurious properties and expansive estates that are owned by movie stars, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and of course doctors and lawyers. Definitely an interesting sight to take in.

4.00The Driver/Tour Guide was 20+ minutes late, with no apology nor explanation. The itinerary instructed us to be there 10 mins early, so our wait time was 30 minutes. The bus was completely unmarked with multiple different tours and passengers intermingled at the pickup point (ROSS store). Nobody had a clue what bus or driver was theirs. We recommend at least a window sign. The bus had suspension issues (likely worn shock absorbers and springs) so a noisy and bumpy ride throughout. It was freezing inside the bus despite multiple requests to turn the AC to a warner setting. The tour itself was nice although the weather was not cooperative (windy and rain on and off). It was nice that we were offered the option either snorkeling or a shopping at the nearby town. We have decided to opt out the snorkeling, and we made the right decision. Those folks who went for snorkeling said they didn’t do it because the water was too choppy.

5.00It was a nice whole day trip around the island with a local tour guide, who was friendly and well knowledged. Although we had to wait for over an hour for our replacement bus to arrive, due to the initial one having had some issues, the guide made sure that we would still see all the points within our trip itinerary and we even had extra time at Dole plantation!

5.00Had an island tour. Our driver was Kap, he was the best. Very friendly and super funny. I would totally recommend taking this tour. Had the best time.
Day-long tour of Oahu. The day was long. About 12 hours. Lots of short stops, but adequate time at most of them
