Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Beach and Lookout, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks, all in one day! The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

Southern Lights
Visits both ends of Whitehaven Beach. Includes one snorkeling site and a Hill Inlet guided walk. Ideal for those wanting more beach time. Check-in at 9am for 10am departure. Returns at 4:30pm

5.00We had an absolutely incredible experience with Chris and Paige from Ocean Rafting—easily one of the highlights of our trip. Snorkeling was unforgettable and Whitehaven Beach was breathtaking. Chris’s manoeuvring of the raft was a blast, we sat on the sides and had an exhilarating time. Paige was such a bubbly beautiful person, if you choose to do this tour you won’t be disappointed.

5.00Highly recommended! We went to two places for snorkeling, personally think they are better than the spot close to whiteheaven, since the reefs are more colorful and there are more fish

3.00Organization, staff and activities, excellent. The negative was that we were charged an extra $20 per person, when we had booked for a date and paid in advance. It's like I have a plane booking and the day you fly they tell you you have to pay more.

5.00We did Whitehaven beach snorkelling trip on the Love Shack with Lana, Lachie and Scottie and it was fantastic. We were a family of 20 ranging from 3 to 78 years old everyone absolutely loved it, it was suitable for everyone! To address the suitability, as I’ve seen some comments about the bumpy ride and splashing, the 3 year old was in his element, but the 9 year old didn’t like the bumpy ride, so it’s all down to the individual. Lana really looked after the little ones and explained what was going on to put them at their ease and she made sure she knew everyone’s name, nice touch! The first half an hour was a lot of fun with Scottie flipping the boat around a little. We then arrived at the snorkelling, which was fantastic and Lana looked after one of the children who was nervous going in but ended up enjoying it the most out of all of the children. We stopped off at a beach and then did the walk to the Whitehaven lookout, which was spectacular! All in all, this was the best boat trip I have ever done, which was in part down to the wonderful crew! Thanks everyone!

5.00We had a great day out today with Ben and Connor. Connor especially is fab at his job, he got everyone in a great mood and is so friendly and enthusiastic. We went with our two girls, 4 and 8, and Connor was so supportive of them when snorkeling and helped them a lot in the water, especially my 8 year old who was very nervous. My only suggestion to others who are going on this adventure with kids is pack your own food, the food is not suitable for kids unless they are into their greens!
A super fun and thrilling day out!!!

5.00We had Jenna and Ben and we just want to say how incredible they were! The weather wasn’t on our side, however they both kept the vibes incredibly high and we had an amazing day just listening to their bangers 😛 Would 100% recommend to anyone and it’s a must if you’re in airlie. Thank you soo much :))
