Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Beach and Lookout, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks, all in one day! The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

5.00We LOVED the flight and rafting experience. Our skipper, Brad, was an incredible driver and made everyone aboard really relaxed. He was super clear with his directions and always went out of his way to lend anyone a hand. The deckies, Abbey and Marsha, went above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of every person. I cannot recommend this enough!

The crew were energetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the Whitsundays, which made the whole experience fun and memorable. Their enthusiasm really set the tone for an amazing day on the water. The ride itself was thrilling—fast, exciting, and so much fun—while still feeling completely safe. We visited stunning snorkelling spots with crystal-clear water and vibrant marine life, and the guides made sure everyone felt comfortable and supported, regardless of experience level. The highlight was exploring the breathtaking beaches and viewpoints. The crew shared fascinating local stories, pointed out wildlife, and helped capture great photos along the way. Every moment was perfectly planned, yet still felt relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, this tour exceeded all expectations. 5.00We had two amazing snorkels and a beautiful hike above Whitehaven beach. This is the only boat trip in town that can take you to the Beach side of Whitehaven where we got to see some small reef sharks and sting rays. Our skipper Max and deck hand Bernie were very fun and informative.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Scott, Kurt and Tahlia!! It was just perfect with a delicious wrap for lunch and super yummy cookie caramel slice with fruit for afternoon tea. Plenty of drinks to purchase onboard. Highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing day - the boat trip was heaps of fun, great communication, lunch was beautiful and fresh, being ahead of the crowds all day was also a plus. Highly recommend this tour, snorkelling was the best we've ever seen. Thanks for a perfect 5 star day!
