Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Beach and Lookout, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks, all in one day! The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

This tour does not pick up or depart from Hamilton Island. You can join this tour from Airlie Beach.

Visits both ends of Whitehaven Beach. Includes one snorkeling site and a Hill Inlet guided walk. Ideal for those wanting more beach time. Check-in at 9am for 10am departure. Returns at 4:30pm

Includes snorkeling at two sites, a stop at Hill Inlet on Whitehaven Beach and a guided walk. Ideal for those wanting maximum snorkeling time. Check-in at 8am for 8:45am departure. Returns 3:30pm

5.00This was an amazing experience with a small group (20) filled with great information from our deckhand/guide James, an incredible beach ⛱️ visit, two snorkel stops, and some kick-ass ocean rafting by our Captain Jakob. These guys are smart, whitty, informative, attentive, and kind.

5.00We had a fabulous day out on the Whitsundays!! Our guides Daisy and Teedee (we don’t know how to spell🫣) were brilliant and brought great vibes throughout, making for a memorable experience. Would 100% recommend this tour, great music, fun snorkel spots and loved how well timed each activity was.Thanks so much!!!

5.00A very fun day. Our tour operators could not have been more fun, informative and inclusive, making sure all felt attended to and happy. The coral and fish were amazing for this introduction to the GBR!! Whitsundays and Whitehaven beach were stunning. Also the crew care, Harry and Joe were beyond compare! So welcoming as we just screamed into the parking lot with 3 minutes to spare🙃🥰. Not to the admin staff, please make it clear on Viator (that’s where we booked) that folks need to be there 1/2 hour ahead. No mention of that anywhere and we were told initially that we were out of luck and so disappointed with the Viator debacle on the other tour and travelling from Cape Hillsborough. Thank you to the crew again, top notch!!!
