This course will take you through the famous Shibuya Crossing more than once! You will feel like a celebrity and relish the attention from onlookers.

Our well trained guides will lead your group in a kart.

**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
MOST Participants will need to obtain an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan.
EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Participants must carry all original documents required to drive in Japan + original passport during the activity. (Digital or photocopy versions are not accepted by law.)
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

5.00I saw them on the streets of Japan on my first visit here last year. This time round I would like to experience it driving on a Go-Kart in Tokyo itself. The tour guide, Jan, was friendly & engaging. He took a lot of photos for me while we were waiting at the red light. He also gives you a tour around Shibuya & Shinjuku. Worth the experience. Would definitely recommend it to others if you’re really into cars and wanted to experience to drive in the streets of Tokyo without breaking the bank.

5.00What a fantastic way to explore Shibuya! We were greeted by our tour guide, Stan, who was phenomenal. Stan is actually a fellow US citizen so we connected quite well with him - you can tell he absolutely loves living in Japan. We put on our awesome costumes (yay Pokémon) which fit perfectly. We then watched the instructional video which discussed how to operate the go karts and other important rules to follow. They clearly put safety first but of course want everyone to have an enjoyable experience. We were a small group (just 3 of us) which was awesome. We drove all around Shibuya and even drove through the Shibuya Crossing a few times - we felt like celebrities with all of the people waving at us and taking photos! We drove on a few major streets and even in some alleyways. I was nervous about driving with traffic but it ended up being quite easy to drive around. There were a couple of instances where we were able to go a bit faster when traffic was light - so much fun! We stayed right behind Stan who guided us every step of the way. He took plenty of photos of us while we stopped at stoplights, which we very much appreciated. This is a MANDATORY activity for anybody visiting Tokyo. Don’t forget your passport and international drivers permit. It’s worth it!
