Ohrid
Ohrid is a city in Macedonia and the seat of the Ohrid Municipality. It is the largest city on Lake Ohrid and the eighth-largest city in the country, Ohrid once had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as a "Jerusalem of the Balkans" The city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments, and tourism is predominant. It is located 170 km south-west from Skopje. In 1979 and in 1980 respectively,Ohrid and Lake Ohrid were accepted as Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO's World Heritage that are Cultural as well as Natural sites.
Samuel's Fortress is a fortress in the old town of Ohrid, Macedonia. It was the capital of the First Bulgarian Empire during the rule of Tsar Samuel at the turn of the 10th century. Today, this historical monument is a major tourist attraction.

5.00I booked a guided tour of Ohrid, and it exceeded all my expectations! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights into the city's history and culture. The tour covered the must-see sites, including the iconic Ohrid Fortress, the stunning churches, and the beautiful Lake Ohrid. We also had the chance to explore hidden gems off the beaten path, which made the experience even more special. The pace was relaxed, and there was plenty of time to take in the views and snap photos. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ohrid—it's the perfect way to explore this beautiful city!

Excelent time spent in Ohrid, value for the money, i recommend it to everybody.

1.00If you could give even zero, I would put zero on this experience as it did not happen! After receiving the tour confirmation by email, where only the pick-up location of the tour was indicated, I wrote to the tour operator to confirm the pick-up location and time. Answer never received. We went to the meeting point anyway and waited three hours for someone to pick us up from 7am. We waited 3 hours also because the tour operator number was non-existent and the assistance number, despite being indicated 24 hours a day, actually began only at 10 am! So until then we had to wait to get confirmation from them that the tour operator was not responding! What assistance! Bad Service and ruined holiday, because in the end we did not see this place, which by all accounts was really worth it! Evaluate first who you lean on to do these tours? Maybe it would help!

5.00Unforgettable tour in Ohrid. Exelent place selection, nice weather and good organisation. Best spend day so far. Driver was exelent we evan see some places that ware not mentioned in the description. With one word EXELENT.
