With this tour, you will discover the Wine and Cheese Route at the Ojos Negros Valley, located east of Ensenada. The route is internationally recognized for the excellent quality of its wines and cheeses. Our first stop is at Vinicola Infinito (Subject to availability), there you will be attended by Pepe Pedrosa, owner and winemaker of the winery, you will also have the opportunity to tour the vineyard and learn more about the world of wine. Vinicola Infinito is recognized for the excellent quality of the Shiraz grape, despite its sandy soil and extreme climates. After, we will move visit to La Cava de Marcelo, where you can learn, with a guided tour at their facilities, about crop production, livestock care, cheese making, and family history ending with a cheese, craft beer tasting and wine. Afterwards we can visit the Aleyha Lavender Farm (Subject to availability) having the possibility to eat at the Grosso restaurant, with gourmet cuisine based on lavender in addition.

Your tour begins at 11:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Ensenada or valle de Guadalupe. Near Ensenada, a valley full of vineyards, cheeses and fun opens its way, called Ojos Negros, in Baja California. 40 kilometers east of Ensenada stretches the beautiful and legendary Valle de Ojos Negros. Beautiful mountains of white rocks, green and fertile land where excellent vegetables and fruits are grown. It is said that it was in these directions when in 1870 a gambusino named Ambrosio Castillo found a gold nugget and with it, an entire vein. Immediately, thousands of adventurers arrived at the place and thus the Real del Castillo was born, which with the gold rush would become the capital of the then territory of Baja California.
You can visit the vineyard, talk with the winemaker and owner Pepe Pedrosa. You will have the unique opportunity to carry out a personalized and private tasting. Note: Some stops may change depending on availability.

5.00The tour was excellent! Very well paced, the winery and the cheese cave were amazing. Tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. They made this experience one of the best tours we’ve been to around here. We didn’t feel rushed at any point, learned some interesting facts and they took pictures throughout the day as well. Highly recommend.

5.00We selected a wine/cheese tour in Ensenada, mostly out of curiosity. We didn’t know there was wine production in Mexico. We were so impressed with everything - our guide, Eugenia was super knowledgeable and very sweet. The wineries we visited were incredible and the wines we tasted were amazing. I am already ready to come back to visit many of the other wineries in the area!

5.00It was an amazing experience we had a driver with so much information our original tasting was canceled for a last minute emergency so she took us to a nice Vinyard in the valle and on the way to the cheese cave she managed to still get us in for our original tasting with my favorite winery in ojos negros. The cheese was amazing as always The wine was perfect. I left with 2 blocks of cheese and 10 bottles of wine. 10/10 I always book this tour.

We returned to our state with a very good taste in our mouths, the places he took us to visit were incredible, clean and comfortable transportation, every time we returned from a tour he welcomed us with water and snacks, very punctual when it came to picking us up from hotel. But above all, a very helpful, patient person with a very pleasant conversation, made us feel at home. We were fascinated by this trip, of course we will return, and we already know who to contact 👏🏻 and at the end of the tour, he gave us a souvenir that came straight to Nayarit ♥️

5.00We own a place at Estero and wanted to explore an area we have never been so decided on oso negros tour! We had a delightful afternoon with Oscar! We visited Infinito winery and did a tasting. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We then went to Dairy cheese farm and did a tour and tastings of cheeses. Oscar was the perfect guide with comfortable safe driving and knowledge of area. It is so nice to now have a friend to connect with for any activities we want to do! We will definitely use him again! Thank you Oscar for a fun day!
