UNCLE J WALKS, presents the ONLY walking tour in the old city that offers ENTRY to both iconic Castles, CASTILLO SAN FELIPE DEL MORRO and CASTILLO SAN CRISTOBAL.
Very few operators offer a Castle tour in the city, none offer two, that is, until now.
In a fun, intimate setting, let Uncle j, dressed as an 18th century soldier,
guide you through the history of the fortifications, which King Phillip 11
called “the key to the Indies’
We encourage small groups so you have ample time to take fantastic photos and to soak in the views.

Castillo San Cristobal is our first stop. A UNESCO ‘National Historic Site’, has being called an ‘engineering masterpiece’ Built to repel attackers from the land. Cristobal was considered state of the art for its time. we will be here 45 minutes
Castillo De San Cristobal
Our Certified Historical Interpreter, dressed in a White Spanish Colonial uniform, will meet your party next to Christopher Columbus Statue, in Plaza Colon. Here, discovery of the island and an introduction to the local indigenous inhabitants, the Tainos wil be discussed

5.00The overall experience was great. Captain J as we liked to call him was very knowledgeable, friendly, and will take you through Puerto Rico’s rich history. It is an inexpensive walk and admission is only $10 for both Forts. The walk will take 3 hours and it is exactly that a walk into the depths of the forts. All three of our kids had a great time and it was very interactive with Uncle J.

5.00Great way to spend one of my last days in Old San Juan. If you’re a history buff and looking for just a fun chill time while walking through the castle and fort, Uncle J puts on a great tour with a lot of great knowledge. Very personable gentleman which makes it more fun. Also points out a lot of good restaurants and social places if you want the authentic Puerto Rican experience.
