5.00This was a really fun and exhilarating experience. The activity desk was easy to find, right by the cruise terminal. The guides were very friendly and approachable and they did a great job explaining the do's and don't's and keeping everyone safe. We were provided with wetsuits, including shoes, so you only need to wear light clothing underneath. I was completely dry afterwards, other than my socks. We kayaked for about 2 hours and stopped in a few locations along the way and were told stories about the region. We had a little time to kayak around freely at the last stop and then headed back to the starting point. We didn't go down narrow Fjords, but the views were beautiful and it was a great experience. I recommend taking a waterproof casing for your phone with a lanyard to keep it safe and it's worth leaving valuables in the hotel or on the cruiseship as there aren't lockers, only open chests to leave your belongings in. It's worth visiting the cafe above the meeting point, it's really quaint and the bathrooms are clean.

5.00The guides were amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. My dad's back was hurting so they got him out of his kayak and back to shore on a boat.

5.00We had such a great time on this tour. Our group had two guides who did a great job explaining the safety procedures and techniques. After we paddled out a bit, we made several stops where they filled us in on Norwegian history and culture- it was nice to have some breaks! Just a note- kayaks hold two people. If you go with an odd number of people, you will be paired with someone else in the same situation. They may or may not make your experience easier/ better. ;-)

5.00Glad we booked with Viator as only 3 of us and Audun the guide. Really fab experience and learned so much about the local culture, stories and personal touch from Audun. He’s a truly outstanding guide. The kayak itself and the suits, boots etc. All provided and in good condition. Kayaking on the fjord itself was breathtaking and a definite highlight of our trip. Would recommend!
