Pick-up from any location in Muscat, followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most stunning natural attractions.
Wadi shab
Wadi Shab, one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman, famous for its crystal-clear pools, canyon views, and hidden waterfall cave. At the parking area, rent a life jacket if needed for 1 OMR per person. Take a short river boat ride (around 2 minutes) to the other side, costing 1 OMR for a round trip. From there, start the hike through the canyon, which takes approximately 30–45 minutes depending on your fitness level, until reaching the first swimming pools. Spend around 3 hours hiking, swimming, relaxing, and exploring the beauty of the wadi.
Wadi Shab
After your Wadi Shab adventure, enjoy a relaxing lunch break at a local restaurant or opt to bring your own packed lunch.
Bimmah Sinkhole
Then continue your journey with a scenic photo stop at the stunning Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with crystal-clear turquoise water. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking views, capture memorable photos, and if you wish, walk down to the viewing area to see the sinkhole up close. Continue your cultural journey with a visit to the impressive Nizwa Fort, one of Oman’s most iconic landmarks. From this breathtaking location, you can admire the deep canyons, rugged cliffs, and layered mountain ranges that stretch endlessly into the horizon. Named after Princess Diana, who visited the site in 1986, this viewpoint is especially magical during sunrise or sunset when the mountains glow with golden light.
