No Experience Needed! All materials provided. Paint a San Miguel de Allende doorway in acrylics on canvas 11" x 14". Practice 5 techniques using brushes and palette knife. You'll use a professional photo as a starting point and each participant can choose a different photo for inspiration. Learn to paint a painting from start to finish and take home your personal masterpiece. The workshop can be offered in Spanish or English Your instructor has over 30 years of experience in US and Mexico

We had a wonderful experience in this painting class. I couldn't believe how fast the 4 hours went by. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and was able to manage several different painting experience levels. I would recommend this class to anyone interested.

My friend, my daughter, and I attended this workshop on October 30, 2025, and absolutely loved every minute of it! The instructor was incredibly skilled and patient, guiding us step by step through the process while still encouraging creativity and individuality. I was amazed at how much we learned in just a few hours—the techniques and tips shared made painting approachable and enjoyable, even for beginners like us. This experience has truly awakened a new interest in painting for me, and it was such a fun and rewarding project to share with my friend and daughter. We’ve proudly hung our finished paintings in our dining room as a cheerful reminder of the day and the memories we made together. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Miguel or looking for a meaningful, creative experience!

The experience was exceptional. I loved learning about painting and San Miguel. The instruct taught me. Lot and was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I went to this painting class with a small group of women, and we all had such an amazing time! Most of us didn’t have any real painting experience going in, but the instructor made everything super easy to follow and so much fun. We learned a lot about different techniques and were actually surprised at how good our paintings turned out! The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, and it was such a great way to spend time together and try something new. I’d highly recommend this class to anyone—whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a fun and inspiring activity in San Miguel!

My daughter and I enjoyed our painting experience. The laid back atmosphere made it very easy to follow his direction to compose a very nice painting which we are able to take home to remember this wonderful experience. They were extremely nice and made it a most enjoyable day!

This was a such a great way to spend some time while traveling through San Miguel De Allende. I am not much of an artist and have no painting experience but Maestro Fernando guided through the whole process and I love how my painting turned out. This experience gave me a good beginning foundation in acrylic painting and I felt encouraged and never rushed. It made me want to take more classes

Fernando was very welcoming to us both as new and experienced artists. He walked us through each step of the way. Our group took away new information that we can include in future endeavors. It was a great way to spend time while in San Miguel. Bonus, we went home with a painting that captures the heart of the city.
