This certification is the most popular dive course in the world. It has allowed millions of people to discover the magnificent ocean floors and to be apart of the diving community and the lifestyle that comes with it. The open water course is organised in 3 main steps: -Develop your knowledge in a way of understanding the basics of diving -Basic exercise training in shallow waters (Beach or swimming pool), at least 5 sessions -Dives in deep waters so you can practise your technique, and explore the ocean floors, at least 4 dives Learning to dive is an extraordinary experience. You will breath underwater for the first time, an experience that you will never forget. Learn the basics of diving and become a certified diver under the direct supervision of our certified instructors. *A minimum age of 10 years is required to do this activity.

5.00I was lucky to have Silvère and Sharon as my two dive instructors. I had never touched scuba diving before getting in the pool with them and they were able to teach me from the ground up. Very patient, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. First day had us learning theory poolside before assembling our gear and getting into the pool where we went over all the important basic skills until we felt comfortable. The next day came the open water and the locations were incredible. I joked that I might have started in too good of a location for my first time diving because everything else will be disappointing. The Manta Rays were easily the coolest part of the dives so I’d recommend the extra trip. I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle on 4/5 of the dives as well. Overall an incredible intro to diving

5.00I did the Open water course. The dive sites were great and the course itself was pretty chill. Kaka the instructor and Neil ( who just began his dive master course) were super helpful. On the boat the vibe was awesome, especially because of the crew.

5.00I highly recommend the Dive Concepts center. The whole team is very professional and the organization of dives is very fluid. Very nice atmosphere on the boat and breakfast planned to recover strength after dives. Special mention to Hugo Capon who made me open water, is very pedagogue and attentive. He remained available afterwards for our questions. Go ahead with your eyes closed!

5.00I had an amazing experience with this diving course — the instructors were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and confident from the very beginning; the lessons were well-structured, the equipment was in excellent condition, and every dive felt exciting and inspiring, making this course the perfect introduction to the underwater world and something I would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning to dive.

Great experience exploring four dives sites

5.00I did four dives around Nusa Penida (Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Pura Mas Gading, and Sental), and the experience was incredible. The conditions varied between the sites: Manta Point and Crystal Bay had light, manageable currents, while Pura Mas Gading and Sental were much stronger and more challenging, but still safe with the guidance of the dive team. During the dives, I saw manta rays, sea turtles, an octopus, moray eels, and even a reef shark. The marine life was diverse, and every site had something different to offer. The dive guides were attentive and professional, making sure everyone felt comfortable before entering the water. The equipment was in good condition, and the briefings were clear and helpful. Overall, the experience felt both exciting and rewarding, especially with the mix of calm and high-current sites.

5.00My boyfriend and I have just completed the 3 day Open Water Dive course in Nusa Lembongan. I was really anxious about diving and using the equipment but the course was really detailed and Gerry, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and thorough when it came to learning how to dive safely. I felt we could completely trust Gerry to make sure we were safe and enjoying the trip. He was very professional but also funny and able to answer lots of questions about the marine life. He also took some amazing videos and photos which will be lasting memories for us! I would 100% recommend Gerry at Dive Concepts for anyone considering giving it a first try or for more experienced divers!
