The advantage of carrying out this certification in Mexico is the great diversity of diving sites present. There are millions of animals, plants, caves and cenotes that can only be seen in Mexico.
According to National Geographic, water covers more than 70 percent of the surface of our planet and only 2 to 5 percent of the oceans have been studied. There are more than 2.2 million species of organisms living in the oceans, of which only 194,400 are known.
This 3-day course includes a theoretical and a practical part with 4 dives in the sea or in the cenotes.
Our experienced instructor will help you master the theory with humor and professionalism. We will send you in advance a digital course manual so that you can learn before your holiday.
Following the theoretical exam, you will officially join the ranks of divers!

Minimum age is 10 years
Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

5.00I have been wanting to do the PADI Open Water certification for years. After a few "club dives" with minimal training, I took the plunge this year in Playa Del Carmen with Andrey at Diversland. What an amazing experience! Andrey is the most patient, kind and credible instructor. We spent many hours practicing the skills necessary to be a comfortable and proficient diver. I not only feel great and safe underwater, but I made a friend I look forward to diving with again.

5.00I will say that Olena was amazing! She was honest, up front and taught us what we needed to know. When we made a mistake she gently explained it so that the next dive we could correct it. She was safe and we never doubted her ability to keep us safe! This was probably the best 3 days we had on our vacation. I highly recommend Discover Scuba. Giving a 5 star review is not an easy thing for us. This was definitely a 5 experience. We saw stingrays, a sea horse, a really HUGE eel! So worth it. Olena was an excellent teacher. Thank you for your time, and effort in teaching us. DO IT people this is a great place to learn!

5.00I came with high expectations, and was absolutely blown away. Every part of the experience was amazing. You feel like you're being taken care of every step of the way, and you can just learn a new skill in an amazing place with incredible people. Andrey was so fun, and such a good instructor. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and he consistently went the extra mile to make sure we learned what we needed to, and that we had a blast while doing so. Eugenia was so sweet too. We had some unusual logistical constraints and she was super helpful and flexible to make everything work. 10/10 experience and people, I would recommend to anyone!

5.00The most important thing is that all instructors are great professionals. On land and under water, I felt safe. All dives were fun, easy, very helpful and I have a video from my dives. It's amazing! . I am very grateful to my instructor Dmitry for the care, support, safety, fun and for now I'm in love with the underwater world!

5.00This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on vacation. Dmitry and Julie wet both very professional and personable. They made sure that I was both competent and confident in all of the skills necessary, not to mention I had a lot of fun on all of the dives, including the pool dive

5.00I did an Open water course and Cenote diving with these guys. And I am i loooove with Julia. She explained things in a very simple but detailed way, was attentive to all the details, very organised and flexible with changes at the same time. Looking forward to coming back soon!

5.00Julia is an absolute gem! Her love of diving and the underwater world shine through in her teaching and enthusiasm. She was very helpful in repeating theory and quizzing us along the way to ensure we were both learning. We both felt safe and comfortable the entire time and are confident we chose the right diving school to become PADI Open Water Diver certified. Thanks to both Julia and Serge (quiet but great sense of humor) of Diversland for an unforgettable first time diving experience!! We will be back for sure!

5.00Patrick is an amazing teacher with a lot of experience and some amazing stories to tell. This guy has done everything and I felt very safe under his instructions. We also had very rough weather but still managed to do it.
