Set off on a musical journey through time as you tap your feet to the tunes that moved the nation in the 1960s and ’70s. Motor City Musical brings Motown hits from musicians like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Jackson 5 to the stage, celebrating the history of a genre that brought new life and rhythm to the American music scene.

Head to the GTS Theatre and settle into your seat as the curtain comes up on the cast of the Original Motown Tribute Show in Myrtle Beach – Motor City Musical. Travel back to the swinging ’60s, a time when music broke down social barriers, changed lives, and brought Americans together over a shared love of soulful songs. Learn the story of Berry Gordy, whose Detroit recording studio put some of the last century’s biggest musical names on the global radar. NOTE: Trip Advisor Seats are in the BACK of the theatre and not able to be upgraded. For better seating order directly through the theatre.

It was a great show with a lot of talent. interaction with the audience and honored vets which we thought was very moving. Show was approx 2 hours and we enjoyed it very much Would def recommend it

We had such a wonderful time. The place is intimate but that's what makes it so much fun. The singers engage with the audience and you make new friends with the people sitting next to you. My husband was up dancing and singing throughout.

Don’t let this little place fool you it might not have any of the big fancy lights and glamour like other places might but you will not be disappointed if you visit The performers, costumes, interactions with the audience are great. Don’t worry about not getting a good seat from the front to the back are all good seats. This is not a big giant concern auditorium so everyone has a great view. When you leave from this show you’ll find out that you can’t single out just one of the performers to be your best because they’re all that good. We really enjoyed the show and we will go back for sure. Donnie & Darlene

Loved the show, singers were excellent, all of them did a fantastic job! The show exceeded our expectations by far, so much talent in a congenial atmosphere. We had a great time and a wonderful Valentine's Day thanks to the performers and the Motown experience.

We celebrated with them on our 15th Anniversary and we had an awesome time. They are without a doubt the best Motown Tribute show we’ve ever seen!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

This might not be a big fancy lit up theater like you would be thinking of on the main strip but don't let that fool you. This was our first time to visit and we walked out of there very well satisfied with what we paid for our tickets. These performers were fantastic and the interactions with the audience was great. We walked out of there all the way to the car talking about how great the show was. You don't have to be a Motown fan to enjoy this show their talent alone will make you glad you came. We will go back for sure. Donnie & Darlene

Great entertaining show. All singers sang and performed excellently. Really enjoyed all the costume changes and the audience participation to dance and sing along to many of the Motown hits. Also there were nice refreshments, drinks and jewelry to purchase. Highly recommend seeing this Motown Tribute Show!
