  Tour guide seemed drunk and or on something, kept talking badly about other areas of Japan and pushing drinks. Strange personality talked too much and could not read the room. Def not worth what I spent. Got barely any history facts just things like “this is like a New York Pizza” referring to a fiah omelette and mocking people from Kyoto and insulting why you would go there. This guy was a hot mess. Stars are only for the city itself the guide not

  We had an absolutely incredible time on the Taste of Osaka tour! Our guide, Trey, was amazing — knowledgeable, fun, and totally tapped into the local scene. We tried an incredible variety of local foods and drinks, many of which we never would’ve found on our own. It was such a memorable experience and the perfect way to experience the city. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka!

  Hitomi was absolutely fabulous for my walking food tour in Osaka! We only went to local spots, tried all the traditional Osakan meals and ended up having a blast and staying out all night! I highly recommend this tour to anyone in Osaka!! And getting to hang out with Hitomi all night was cherry on top!

  We had a great experience with Trey, who knew the best places for us to experience delicious foods that were off the beaten path of tourists. He also took us to several really cool bars/izakayas that we’d have never found on our own as tourists. We ended the evening at a Karaoke bar and he even stayed past the tour and we all enjoyed an all-you-can-drink (note: not included in the tour) night of Karaoke. Great experience!

  Had a great time exploring the town! Beyond the food tour we also got to walk the streets and find out more about the local area and customs. At the end we even ended up at a bonus really great karaoke bar with a lot of international folks. One of our highlights was a tiny standing bar trying some local sake.

  Danyk was a fantastic tour guide. As a longtime resident of the area and a fun person in general, he had the perfect mix of local expertise and humor. The highlights of the tour were the bars, which can be hard to navigate as a tourist. He was great with my dad (i.e. sensitive to the challenges of non 20-somethings) and overall 10/10 as a nightlife guide. He was also generous with his time after the tour to help us with some other random questions. Recommend.

  This was a great tour. It took me to bars and izakaya where tourists don't go. People were friendly and funny. It felt like a real glimpse into the culture.
