Watch Japan’s unique and traditional sport Sumo with a knowledgeable tour guide.

If you are in Osaka in March, you should not miss it!(the tournaments take place 6 times a year; 3 times in Tokyo, once in Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka respectively. Each tournament lasts for 15 days. )

Meet your English speaking guide at in front of the Namba post office and walk to the stadium(5mins walk). Your guide will talk you through what is Sumo, its history and rules before entering the stadium and give you additional tips in between the bouts.

Feel the intense, serious atmosphere of the tournament while you are free to grab some beer, Yakitori(skewers), etc.. at the vendor inside the stadium and eat/drink at your seat. *Food and drinks are not included in this tour.

You will get chair seat on 3rd floor.(On 2nd floor, there are only box seats) Your guide will hand out the ticket on the tour date

This is a group tour. We will leave on time, so please make sure to be there on time!

Large luggage cannot be brought into the seat.

No changes or refunds of any kind can be made less than 24 hours prior to the tour start time.

Children 3 years old and under can enter for free, however they will not have their own seat and will need to sit on your lap. Children 4 years and up must have their own tickets.

There is a place in the stadium you can store baby strollers, however they cannot be brought up to the seats.

Satsuki was very pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Sumo. She provided a lot of background information we wouldn’t have got if we went on our own. We definitely want to see more Sumo!

Our guide Satsuki was so knowledgeable and her excitement for the sport got the whole group going! We all had an amazing time and are now hooked and following the sport on television.

Wow! What a great experience it was attending our first Sumo match in Japan. The guide Satsuki was very kind, informative and told us all about the history of sumo, brought brochures about the competitors, their stats, their background and more. It made the whole experience very enjoyable! We cheered for the Osaka players as we watched the game there. The seats had a nice view on the stage. If we went alone we would probably struggle to understand what's going on. I highly recommend this tour and Satsuki.

This was a great tour of the Sumo tournament in Osaka. Chiko was great! She was knowledgeable, funny, and charming all at the same time. If you want someone endearing to the activities that are dear to their own heart, Chiko is the person to have as your guide.
Super but too expensive sumo tournament

The tournament is great. It's worth seeing. However, tickets with klook are too expensive for what the tour operator brings. The guide spoke very poor English and apart from taking us to the arena....well he does nothing else even if he is very nice and smiling. It's not his fault it's the service that is too expensive!!
