This tour is your unique chance to spend a day in the fjord region of Norway. You will get away from Oslo to enjoy the picturesque mountain plateaus, valleys, canyons, waterfalls and fjords. The comfortable vehicle with your private driver/guide will transport you through the best of Norwegian natural attractions. Not to tire you with long car rides, we will combine the different means of transportation. You will enjoy an hour train ride on Bergen Railway, then switch to famous Flam Railway, and after a quick lunch you go for 2 hour fjordcruise along the two branches of the longest fjord in Norway - Sognefjord.

Oslo

You will be picked up in the morning by our driver guide and set your way deeper to the fjords. The route will lead you trhough the beatuful norway scenery, deeper and deeper to the heart of the fjords. There will be a few stops on the way to refill, grab a coffer or quick food.

Arriving in Gudvangen, board on a beautiful modern boat - that will take you to Sognefjord & Naerofjord to arrive in Flam, where your driver-guide will meet you. Ticket is included.

Our tour guide was Janis, and he was absolutely incredible! This tour was unbelievably beautiful! We could not recommend it more! The ferry was one of the most beautiful sights we have ever seen, and the train rides and car were so much fun! Despite it being a long day, it was not exhausting at all and it was truly great!

Our guide Janka was outstanding - he was knowledgeable, professional, relaxed and companionable. This tour was a great way to get a glimpse of the beauty and history of the Norway interior without having to spend an overnight outside of Oslo. The landscape we saw on the Sognefjord cruise was amazing. We also appreciated the stops at historical sites and the brief ride on the Flam railway. Since we had only a short period of time in Norway, this trip was an excellent choice for us.

The trip was amazing but do pack a thick jacket as some parts can be cold. The guide assigned to us, Janis was fantastic and contacted me via WhatsApp the day before to arrange and confirm everything . Janis and local tour agency were perfect and janis even came with local breakfast and chocolates for us .

It's a long day. Drive to Geilo is scenic. Flam and Fjord cruises are marvelous. Norway is moving to electric vehicles. Multiple long stops to charge vehicle.
No tickets for the railway

Due to “technical issues” we did not receive tickets for the flam railway though I checked with the flam railway ticket booth & the train was running with no issues. Otherwise we had a very nice time, Janis, our driver, was wonderful.

This is an all day experience, be prepared for it! That being said it was so much fun. First of all our driver/tour guide was Alekss and he was fantastic! We asked him to pick us up at 2 different hotels in Oslo, no problem and we also asked to stop at the Borgund Stave Church so we left Oslo at 7:15 so we could be sure to have time to stop. We stop at Circle K for gas-food- bathroom break. Alekss was a superb driver and we were confident to get to all our stops on time. We did not have to worry about our getting tickets for the boat or the train, Alekss was right there to show us the way. It really was stress free. We had plans to stop for dinner on our way back to Oslo but there was a delay with the train so we stopped for a quick bite to eat in the van on the way back. Yes this was a long day, but with everything taken care of for us it was a wonderful experience and if you get Alekss for a guide you won’t be disappointed!!
