  I embarked on an incredible tour to Octavalo from Quito, Ecuador, with no prior knowledge of what to expect. The day was filled with exciting activities, including a visit to the breathtaking Peguche waterfall, an exploration of the vibrant Indigenous market, and a delightful stop at the Biscotto bakery. We also savored a delicious lunch at a restaurant that showcased the region’s culinary delights. Our tour guide, Irene, and our driver, Ivan, were both exceptionally professional. They provided insightful answers to our questions and offered valuable insights into the local culture.   Irene, our guide, is exceptional. All wonderful. His mastery of content related to the places visited was very rich and varied. His attentions and sympathy brightened the trip.

  A nice tour to Otavalo market. The breakfast stop at the bizcocho bakery and the waterfall stops were good but probably could have skipped the lake stop. The driver and guide - Andrés and Veronica - were great.

  Irene was an excellent guide, she speaks fluent English and all the explanations were entertaining, made the tour a very enjoyable day. Mauritius an excellent driver.

  Our guide Diana was so friendly, helpful and informative. The trip was worth it for the information alone. Great conversations. The Bizcochos was delicious and interesting to know the history/how they make it and similar with the Agave and at 0 0 0 my husband managed to balance an egg!! The waterfall is beautiful and watching the lady playing the instruments was very relaxing. And of course, the market was full of hoods to buy. We tried haggling (I usually hate it but they seem to love it!) and it really works - start at half the price and then work up to the middle difference. We got some bargains. For lunch Diana found a restaurant that served fish as I don’t eat meat. All in all a great day out.
