Visit the main attractions of the province of Imbabura within approximately 10 hours. Crossing the Valley of Guayllabamba, we will arrive at the equator monument, site thru which the Equatorial Line passes. Also we visit a bizcocho factory to learn and taste how they prepare this delicious cake.
Otavalo Market
Continue the journey to Otavalo where we will visit the largest indigenous market in South America, an ideal place for shopping.

5.00What a wonderful tour! It was so much more than I expect. Diana is an amazing and knowledgeable guide, she shared so much that really showed her connection to her culture. The breakfast stop was very welcome, as we had an early start and many had not eaten. And the agave and bizcochos info was so interesting. It was fun to know we stopped exactly on the Equator, 0', 0", 0"'! The local indigenous information and demonstration from Christine was a very special treat. The music stop was really good, I loved the family playing a tune at the end! The waterfall was very misty and wet! And the Market, although pouring with rain, was entertaining, almost everyone bought an item to remember our fun day! Thanks to James for the drive, I felt very safe at all times, which is not something I share lightly.

5.00I'm not usually one for tours, but as it was my first day in the country and also Saturday market day in Otavalo I decided to ease myself into Ecuador by signing up for this tour, and I'm very glad that I did. Irene the guide was absolutely fantastic, with lots of useful information about all things Ecuador. She helped to answer a lot of my questions about the country, helped me to plan the rest of my trip and was absolutely spot on with her local food recommendations. The tour had some interesting stops along the way to the market, and the market itself didn't disappoint - on Saturdays the market extends for blocks and blocks in many directions. I generally don't even like shopping that much but bought some beautiful scarves for a very reasonable price (don't be afraid to bargain). The guide Irene helped make this a perfect first day in the country, I'm very happy I booked this tour.
Well done Irene! I learned so much about the Ecuadorian culture, people, food, music and roses. Loved it! Mucho gracias!

5.00It was filled with Ecuadorian’s history, people, culture, food, music, roses, Irene was funny and always asked us if we had questions. She is a great Ecuadorian ambassador! And, Jimmy was an excellent driver.

5.00I absolutely love this tour! I've been on a lot of tours all over the world, and I have to say, Irene, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing! Her boundless passion for her country and the places we visited was contagious. She made sure we were safe in Ot巴尔虎! She ran after us, her eyes shining with excitement, and told us to put our backpacks in front of us. From now on, every time I see a rose, I will fondly remember the absolutely wonderful tour with Irene and our very good and safe driver, Jimmy! Highly recommend this tour esp. with Irene and Jimmy

5.00Too beautiful the experience with Pamela, she has a knack for explaining everything in a very entertaining way in both English and Spanish. We enjoyed our walk too much. Pamela always kept an eye on us, taking photographs and giving explanations to all our doubts!. I definitely recommend 100 percent taking this tour and if you can count on Pamela's guidance it would be amazing.
