2.00On our way to the tour start point we passed the Parliament buildings, Prime Minister’s Office and the Riddeau Canal. There are plenty of information boards at all these places and at other significant buildings along the way. Our tour guide was very pleasant but her first point was about how much we should pay her. We then proceeded to walk through the city during which time most of her conversation was about shopping, places to eat and other banalities (including where you can get your bike repaired ??!?) After about an hour of what appeared to be walking round in circles we arrived at the Parliament where there was a 20 minute comfort break. We had learned more during our walk to the start point than from our guide. At this point we left the group.

5.00Our original booking in the afternoon got cancelled, we were lucky we were able to join the morning tour. Lee was brilliant and kept us walking & entertained for the full 3hrs. We learned quite a bit Canada and Ottawa. Lots of beautiful photo points and monuments. Loved the tour in Ottawa, we are regretting not doing theirs in Toronto. Highly recommend Toonie Tours & Lee(in Ottawa)
