I will meet you at 7 am at your accommodation in downtown Cairo or pyramids area, then we will start our tour.

The guide and the driver picked me up from the hotel. So I didn't have to bother myself to get to a meeting point. The road to Alexandria from Cairo is about 3h. The guide knew the place well and gave me several explanations. Having a private guide allowed me to go at my own pace.

From the moment of pick up from my B&B by Mohammad and Rahma from Amon Ra Tours, my journey to Alexandria became magical. The warmth and hospitality of both driver and guide were more than expected. I felt safe, welcomed, and part of an amazing adventure. Even though Rahma had done this trip so many times, I felt her excitement in showing me this city filled with history and splendour. Her knowledge of the sites we visited filled me with awe and took me back in time. This trip with Amon Ra Tours is an absolute must on your "Bucket List"

“My mom and I only did 2 1/2 days in Cairo and we used one of them to take this tour and it was definitely worth it! Our driver (Mohamed) was safe and quick and our guide (Hima) was knowledgeable and friendly. As two women touring alone we felt perfectly safe the entire time, even when an unforseeable car issue derailed our drive back to Cairo for a little bit. One thing I really appreciated was the communication leading up to the trip - the tour manager, guide, and driver all reached out via text so we never felt like we didn't know what was going on. We learned so much about an awesome ancient city and had a great day. Definitely recommend!”

A day in Alessandria where I was able to see the main points thanks to Gogo, an excellent driver and Hima, the guide. I visited the catacombs, Pompeii valley, citadel and the library. I recommend it to those traveling alone!

If I had to choose the best part of my trip to Egypt: #1 Alexandria Day Trip #2 Cairo Nile Dinner Cruise #3 Giza Pyramid Quad Bike no see. All three tours are conducted by Mido, It was a tour participated by guide Roma and driver Gogo. I had absolutely no information about Alexandria, and even had no interest in the area. It's just that I like Roma and Gogo so much that I wanted to see them one more day, so I signed up for the tour. The Alexandria tour... I was alone... Mido may have lost a day. I am so grateful to the three people who worked hard for me during the long day-long tour. What I am grateful to Mido and Roma is that during the tour, they keep reminding me of the pick-up location and time through messages before the tour. They also make sure I have no problems with my schedule, and if there are any problems with my schedule, they resolve the problem right away. Roma, she uses a translator to tell me about the history of the site and the culture of Egypt for me, who is not good at English. Actually, I am ignorant of Egyptian history. As she explained history using a translator, I felt very grateful to her, felt ashamed of myself, and thought a lot about wanting to study Egyptian history. As a guide, she constantly asked me questions and led the tour, and on the streets of Egypt it was difficult to cross because there were no crosswalks. He held my hand and led me. She continued to take care of me like my manager or secretary. She is much younger than me. But she is more than a guide, a friend and sometimes like an older sister to me. Gogo, he's such a delightful guy. He must have been very tired from the long drive, but he played exciting music and sang and danced. Probably for Roma and me. He covered the car windows with sun shades, so I was able to take a nap in the car. He was like an uncle to me, but he treated me like a father. She and he spend a lot more time on tour I invested in me. They also coordinated the tour for me. To me, Egypt was a yellow color that reminded me of nothing but the desert. However, the Alexandria tour introduced me to the green and blue colors of Egypt, and made me feel the warmth of the Egyptian people through Roma and Gogo. I highly recommend this tour. If you are hesitant to join the tour because you do not speak English well, there is no need to do so. Your host, guide, and driver will always be there for you. Don't hesitate. Tour Tips: It is a good idea to carry a spare battery that can charge your cell phone. (Roma, thank you for making breakfast for me when I normally don't have to, and that Egyptian food was so delicious. Also, thank you for taking good pictures of me)

The driver picked me up from my place in Cairo in a car with AC and took me to Alexandria, where we met up with the guide. There, he took me to the catacombes, theatre and citadel, where he told me their history in great detail. At the end, we went to the fish market, where he had a great lunch.

My day in Alexandria through Amon Ra tours was great! Wonderful security, great tour guide who is a pro at what he does. He is very time efficient and has a great agenda set up. Does a wonderful job in ensuring the group is together and is moving according to schedule. Would highly recommend
