5.00Franklin and margin were amazing guides. I went with two of my friends and we had the best time ever. The brothers base camp is lower the others so it is easier to go on the fuego tour which is a must. 10/10 recommend!

3.00Meeting point on Viator is wrong, and it nearly caused me to miss the tour. I had to contact them and rush to the office in a hurry. Unpleasant start. Tour is fine, just don’t expect anything to be comfortable, everyone comes for the view but everyone in the team made it alright. It’s a once in a lifetime experience so just do it.

5.00Thank you to Brothers Expeditions for sharing this incredible hike. John and Roy were kind and encouraging, and also made me feel safe the entire time. Basecamp is in a beautiful spot on Acatenango, with perfect views of Fuego erupting. The hike to base camp is long and difficult, but manageable with hiking poles and comfy shoes with good grip. (definitely hire to have your bags with water carried up, if you’re not trying to prove anything and want to feel better) The extra hike to Fuego is insane!!! But after doing it, you will know there’s nothing that you can’t do!
Throughout the hike I had a great time. The guide was very helpful providing cream for a cramp I had half way. Recommend

5.00An amazing experience from start to finish. The tour to the Acatenango and Volcano of Fire completely exceeded my expectations. Our Derbyn guide was extremely friendly, patient and always willing to wait for the group without pressure, which made all the difference during the walk. Also, it had great talk and that helped a lot to keep the mood and create a relaxed atmosphere. The group was small, something that is greatly appreciated because it allowed a more personalized experience and, above all, to generate genuine connections between the participants. It felt very human, close and well cared for at all times. Without a doubt, an experience that I would repeat and that I totally recommend if you are looking for something authentic, well organized and with good energy.

5.00It is an incredible and unmissable experience, I recommend if you will take the tour take it with Derby, it is very patient and at all times support us to achieve the task, personally it was a very big challenge but thanks to our guide my friends and I arrived very well! He made us a very rich dinner and we had a campfire with a very pleasant talk, he is also an excellent photographer! 😁
