The Packraft on Tres Amigos River is an exciting 4-hour adventure designed for both adults and children. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, and after a 35-minute drive, you’ll arrive at the beautiful Tres Amigos River. Here, you’ll receive professional gear and a safety briefing before a short practice in the water. You’ll then embark on a unique journey through class II and II+ rapids, enjoying stunning scenery and calm water pools where you can jump in and swim. Halfway through the activity, you’ll be offered a tropical fruit snack before continuing the adventure. What makes this activity unique is the experience of navigating through rapids and currents in your own kayak, enjoying an unparalleled sensation as you glide over the crystal-clear waters. It’s a safe, adrenaline-filled activity, unlike anything else in the region, allowing you to connect closely with nature in a setting that would otherwise be inaccessible.

We had an amazing time pack rafting. It was our first experience of this activity and it did not disappoint. Alex walked us through the essentials and guided us down each rapid. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone. Huge thanks to Alex for taking care of us and making sure we had a great time!

My partner and I Decided to do rafting while in Fortuna and the trip did not disappoint. Alex was our guide and from start to finish the experience was excellent. He arrived early to collect us informed us of what to expect then we went to go rafting. He took us out to a calm area to practice paddle and show us the ropes and safety. Then we began the journey along in the raft and it was beyond awesome actually one of my favourite trips ever!!! Alex was extremely informative we felt very safe and see some great phenomenal animals and reptiles along the way. I could not recommend this trip enough Alex was a lovely Man and sincerely made our day we where blown away by his happy go lucky attitude and zest from life.

Just did a Packrafting tour and it was absolutely AMAZING!! If you love whitewater rafting, kayaking, or are looking for a challenge- don’t even think twice and book this! A perfect blend of adrenaline and relaxing in between rapids, with a super knowledgeable and skilled guide, you’ll feel safe no matter what! We also saw an abundance of beautiful river birds, an iguana, a toucan, and even a few howler monkeys in the distance! Riding waves has never been more fun. Don’t think twice and book this tour! Pura Vida 🤙🏄🏻‍♀️

Aletto was a great guide and instructor. We loved doing something off the beaten tourist track. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water and would highly recommend to others! We were also happy the weather cooperated. It just rained lightly for about an hour.
Definitely a must do!

What a great adventure. Aletto was our guide on the river. He provided excellent instruction and assistance. We had never used inflatable kayaks or experienced so many rapids but as 60+ travelers we made it. Aletto was also shared great information about the river, wildlife, birds, trees, etc. We really really enjoyed getting away from the typical tourist spots.

We came from South Dakota and if you’re looking for an unforgettable experience in Costa Rica, this is it. Alex and team provided an amazing adventure. They catered the trip to your experience level. The packrafts felt safe and easy to handle, perfect for any level.The experience was the perfect mix of thrilling and chill. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore Costa Rica. We had the absolute BEST time today! Alex and Javi were our guides on the river and it was just amazing! So many fun rapids, beautiful sites to see. Just a gorgeous day and a great trip. There were so many times that I got my raft stuck and Javi would be right there to rescue me. And he always said “it’s my pleasure!” Love him! I highly recommend this trip to anyone, it was SO MICH FUN! Alex took pictures along the way but I forgot to get them from him so I hope you can have him contact me!

A fun, informative paddle down the river, with Alex, a super friendly, knowledgeable guide. A delicious meal to end the trip. And a great conversation with both Alex and his partner, Andras, about their company philosophy, and how they want tourism to benefit as many people as possible.

WOW!!! we had never pack rafted nor heard of it. Looked fun and some locals recommended it, Glad they did! Alex and his guys are amazing with a great knowledge and understanding how to teach us beginners. Food at the end was perfect as well!
