After a short safety briefing it's off on a guided kayak tour with Kaiteriteri Kayaks. Paddle to the iconic Split Apple Rock, spotting native wildlife and soaking in the breathtaking coastal views. Midway, relax with a picnic lunch on one of the park’s secluded golden-sand beaches before returning to shore.
The first part of The Great Taste Trail ride climbs up through the Kaiteriteri Bike Park. Winding through forest, and with lovely views out to the bays, it is a decent climb before joining the rest of the trail which is much more sedate.

5.00We had a great time hired some bikes and got lots of really helpful information from the people at the bike shop and did the ride out to rabbit Island and return and had a great time all the tracks are in great condition and well sign posted.
Kayak great but cycle was for more experienced riders

5.00Kayak was superb with very friendly guide and the distance just right for beginners.The cycle ride was very difficult terrain for the initial part and forced us to walk our cycles which was far from ideal.
