  We tried a dive experience and then did PADI open water. Steve and Emma did a great job and we really enjoyed diving with them. If you’re looking to get qualified whilst in Hurghada this is a good team to use!

  My son came to do his PADI Junior Open Water on Feb 2024 and was taught by Emma. As a former instructor I think I am a bit more fussy... but Emma was great with my son and took him through the course... and his first qualified dives he looked confident in the water. A testament in itself to Emma's teaching and approach with children. Would highly recommended

  I had an exceptional experience with Emma and Steve's dive company in Hurghada! Steve's proactive communication, both before and after booking, eased my initial concerns, providing detailed information that helped alleviate my worries. Emma and Steve's extensive knowledge was evident throughout the experience. Emma's calm, informative, and patient approach was invaluable, especially when I struggled with certain skills. She not only assisted me in mastering them but also helped build my confidence. Thanks to her guidance, I successfully completed an 18m dive—a feat I initially doubted due to nerves. By the third day, my eagerness to dive had surpassed any apprehension. The entire team, including the floor staff, was excellent—always helpful and attentive. Their commitment to ensuring a positive experience is commendable. In fact, our experience was so fantastic that we've already booked another dive with Emma and the team. • The best and only option to consider for diving in Hurghada

  Prior to flying out to Egypt I did my research and it was clear that Dive UK Hurghada was the best option for me based on previous reviews. It's ultimately your life in their hands so a decision you cannot take lightly. Pre-arrival, I had emails and WhatsApp's with Steve Povey the owner of Dive UK Hurghada discussing what I needed to do in advance. He also can make the trip even easier and organise accommodation and transfers. Everything was designed to take the stress away and concentrate on the diving. Post-arrival, I was picked up outside a local hotel and greeted by his colleague and fellow instructor Emma with a big smile and ready for me to take diving by storm! Over the next few days I was taken through all the practical skills I needed to pass the PADI Open Water course based on my e-learning. One thing to note is that the PADI e-learning is extensive and will take several weeks as a bare minimum if doing this in evenings etc after work. Don't think you can do this, and take this in, in a day or two. After all it is all about saving your life so essential stuff. Emma was incredibly supportive throughout the whole course and wanted more than anything for me to pass. I can certainly admit to finding the practical aspect rather difficult and she persevered and worked on the aspects I struggled with. Emma has a 100% pass record and I didn't want to be the first person to let her down! She worked very hard and am delighted to say I passed. I entirely attribute this down to Emma's instruction - without her support, empathy, and dedication I don't think I would have passed. Within hours of passing my course I had already booked my flights back to Hurghada in January and booked my Advanced Open Water with Steve so I can continue my learning and reinforce my existing Open Water skills with Emma again as my instructor. I've already told Steve since completing the Open Water course that I am so impressed with the tuition it is only Emma I will be taught by going forward. Her integrity, kindness, and hard work are second to none and strongly recommend her, as well as Steve, at Dive UK Hurghada. Their enthusiasm for Scuba diving is infectious and you can guarantee that you will find a new love at the end of your course. I can't recommend them highly enough as well as thanking them for everything.

  My partner booked our open water padi course and a few dives with dive uk Hurghada and even with a broken rib it was an amazing experience. I had only ever done a trial dive before and I got taught everything. Had amazing holiday and dives and we are planning to book our holiday next year in Egypt and more dives with Steve. Thank you so much and would really recommend this company to anyone planning to dive in the Red Sea 😊

  I had it in my head that I needed to SCUBA dive in Egypt; I'm not sure where this came from, but it happened. I was told I HAD to go to Hurghada and any hotel would have a dive center. TripAdvisor research led me to Dive UK. At first the price seemed a bit steep, but I chose because I figured language would not be a barrier. That "steep price" was all I paid unlike the rest of Egypt where they get you with that dirt cheap price then tag on extras along the way. Steve had me pay through Wise before I arrived and that was the only time I had to open my wallet! Once I arrived, I met Wassam who was an EXCELLENT instructor. The anxiety/claustrophobia hit while sitting on the bottom of the sea, but Wassam helped ease that quickly. Wassam was patient with the instruction, underwater he had a keen eye for pointing out all the hidden critters, and provided excellent company while up on shore!

  After extensive research, we chose Dive UK Hurghada for our Open Water PADI course at the recommendation of a friend who is an experienced diver, and we are incredibly glad we did as we had the best experience ever! We were lucky to have Wessam as our instructor for the first two days, his comprehensive briefings and fun approach to teaching made the learning process smooth and enjoyable. A skilled and patient professional, Wessam was able to calm my nerves when I was stressed underwater and made me feel safe at all times, while putting a smile on my face with his fantastic humour. We enjoyed our final dive of the course with Steve, who is extremely knowledgeable and helped us to refine our skills further. Apart from being a great instructor, Steve went above and beyond to take nice photos of us during the dive, organise transfers, give restaurant recommendations and tour guide referrals for Cairo. He is a exceptional host and his passion truly shines through. I can’t recommend Steve and his crew enough and we will certainly be booking with Dive UK Hurghada again!

  Just completed the Padi Open Water course with Dive Uk Hurghada, cannot recommend these guys enough. Wessam is an awesome instructor. No risk approach to instructing, very knowledgable and made the whole process very enjoyable from start to finish. Steve runs a tight ship. He know his customers and his instructors really well, anyone considering a dive centre is in safe hands. Super happy, will certainly be diving with these guys again 👌🏼

  We are so delighted to have booked my 10 year old daughter's PADI open water course through Dive UK Hurghada. One of the reasons for booking through a UK based company was to ensure a stringent attitude to safety and Steve ensured that this was most definitely the case. Steve also insists on small class sizes and ensures that all of his instructors speak excellent English. Which meant that my daughter loved the course. But what was most impressive was Steve's willingness to go out of was way to look after the people on this course. The proof is in the pudding - my daughter wishes to return to dive with Steve and we are definitely planning to book our son onto an open water course next year. We would strongly encourage any families planning to book their children (or themselves!) onto a PADI diving course to think about booking through Dive UK Hurghada.
