This is the first cooking workshop in Alicante, born in 2022.
Unlike other cooking workshops we introduced the local Market as an important key of the cooking process. That´s why you will spend an hour in the Market buying the freshest ingredients and interacting with the stall owners, while you learn about the Spanish cuisine, history and traditions.
Discover the best mediterranean flavours and recipes led by a local and proffesional chef and her assitant in her own venue.
This is NOT an artificial venue made for tourists, but a local bussiness, where you could interact with other travellers and locals.

Afterwards, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking class led by a local chef and her assistant. You will discover the best Spanish flavours trying a variety of traditional tapas paired with your own hand made sangria. Choose your flavour (seafood, meat or veg.) and discover the art of making the best Paella (your own). As the icing on the cake, enjoying your own homemade paella, sangria and apperitives with other travellers in a friendly and local atmosphere. The venue is a loal restaurant with other customers, not a set up venue for tourist. This will be a memorable and delicious experience whether you are a seasoned cook or a culinary novice. We are still buzzing from the incredible paella and sangria cooking class. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. We began by selecting fresh ingredients at the market, which added an authentic touch to the class. Our instructor, Fred, was absolutely fantastic - passionate, positive, and with a great sense of humor that kept us all laughing and engaged. The class was truly interactive and educational, with Fred sharing his expertise and tips with infectious enthusiasm. Whether you're a beginner or novice cook, this class is perfect for anyone looking to learn new skills. The best part? The results were absolutely delicious! Our paella and sangria turned out perfectly, and we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor afterwards with real recipes to take home. Fred's teaching style was engaging, patient, and fun, making everyone feel at ease in the kitchen. Our guide Fred and chef Maria were absolutely amazing throughout every step of shopping at the market, food prep and making sangria, a tasty salad and the arroz/paella. Highly recommend this workshop if one is interested in the history of a dish central to the Alicante cuisine and culture.
