5.00This tour and class were everything we wanted in this experience. From the tour and walk around of the central markets, and the class itself, everything exceeded our expectations. The tour of the markets was not only enjoyable but informative. We got to visit many stalls and learn about where the food we’d be cooking with came from. And we got an informative history of the markets themselves as well. The class itself was quite interactive and informative. We were able to do everything easily, and had a lot of fun doing it. The ingredients we used were obviously high quality and we were told why we were using everything and why it went in the dish when it did. And the end result was delicious!! As for the hosts, Christina and Andrea were awesome, friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable. We all got along well and we were able to follow instructions from them with no issue. Andrea was very excited that we all wanted to try squid ink in our dish as she’d been wanting to do that forever (and it was by far the class favourite)! This is definitely worth the time and the money!

5.00Walked around the market learning about the history and food being sold at the stalls where the food we were going to be making was purchased. Then we took a short walk to the tasting club’s location where we got to work. We were shown how to clean and cut the veggies and meats/seafood… then we got to work while drinking wine and chatting. Once it was all ready, we sat down and ate our paella. It was 5 of us so we made one seafood paella and one chicken paella. Both were absolutely delicious. As a solo traveler this was the best experience, as most restaurants require minimum 2 people to purchase/order paella because of how it’s made.
