Starting at Central Market, where we will try various typical snacks, we are going to conquer one of the most beautiful castles in Spain in front of the sea which has more than 1000 years of history. (Transportation to the castle is incluided).
We will descend to the historic center enjoying the most important monuments and discovering the seven secrets.
Let me surprise you with the beauty of my hometown and with countless anecdotes, history, legends and intrigue.
Finally we will visit the tapas bar run by my childhood friend, he has been awarded with the best tapas in Alicante, and you will be able to taste one of the winner tapas as well as a typical Spanish drink.

3.00This tour was a bit misleading. It’s definitely NOT “a wander” - it’s a significant amount of walking, thankfully all downhill, but quite steep and a bit slippery at times. Also not much shade so it’s bit uncomfortable. The “nibbles” you get in the market are minimal. The tapas at the end is one small item and a drink. I enjoyed seeing the Santa Cruz neighborhood, but do wish i knew what i had signed up for! I might have dressed or prepared differently for example!

4.00The tour did not mention anything about the amount of walking from the top of the fort to the city center and the amount of steps involved. Two members of our party had a tough time. The tour should have been more descriptive of the activities rather than just 'city tour, wine tasting and tapas.' The fort was nice but was never listed as a stop. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

4.00Our guide was well versed and we enjoyed her explanations during the tour. Few things to consider, this is about 85% historic tour with a good amount of walking and steps and it ends with 1 tapa and 1 glass of wine/beer. If you are looking for a tapas tour, don’t take this one. If you want a historic tour with a drink at the end. Enjoy!

3.00This was a very good overview of a number of areas of Alicante. Be aware that this is an extremely strenuous City walk. Particularly because of stairs, mostly going down but there were many many many stairs as you follow the route with the tour guide.
