The entire experience was excellent, from the tour itself to the food. The guide was very informative on the history of Panama and the canal. It was quite amazing to actually go through the locks! Highly recommend!

This tour doesn't start until 0700 am. If you get there at 0600 am, prepare to sit in the hot sun for an hour. The bus ride back is also scary, the driver talks to his girlfriend and watches music videos instead of the road. Other than that and the green pasta for lunch, it was great to see the canal.

This was a great way to see the canal. We went early in the morning, and it was definitely easier to have pre-arranged transportation to and from tour. The boat has seating in the sun and the shade, and also great indoor seating with AC. The food was good. I especially loved seeing the boats that accompanied us in the locks. One was a giant ship from China. It was interesting to see them looking out the windows at us and taking pictures just like we were. The canal is definitely worth seeing. It is an amazing feet and I thought that this half day trip was long enough to take it in and not get too hot or bored. I would recommend it.
