Miraflores Visitor Center

We head to the Miraflores Visitor Center where we will have the opportunity to see the 45-minute documentary about the Panama Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman at the Imax theater, we will know the history and operation of this important and imposing construction and see the transit of Panamax ships that pass through the locks of Miraflores. This time includes transfer to the Miraflores Locks.

From the Miraflores Locks we arrive at the Pedro Miguel Locks, this is the smallest lock built and very important as it levels the ships at the level of the snake cut which is the most dangerous and complicated part of the transit of the ships. Time includes transfer to the locks of Pedro Miguel.

My wife and I just completed a great tour of the Panamal Canal with Gabriel, our guide. He was professional, spoke perfect English, was very informative, safe driver, and took us to interesting places downtown that were not on our list. Our guide, Joaquin, was amazing. I think having a guide for this expertise is an absolute must. If you're an American, you just can't drive here. You really need a local who knows the area perfectly. Joaquin lives what he does and he fills the trip with that enthusiasm. I learned a lot, saw everyone i hoped i would, and had a great time. He is a great guide.

A well organized tour with much to see and learn about the Panama Canal. Joaquin our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and his pride of citizenship and willingness to share this knowledge made the tour worth the while. We highly recommend this tour of one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

I made the tour of the Panama Canal with the guide Mario and it was an excellent experience. He has an impressive knowledge about the history and operation of the canal, explains everything clearly and interestingly. In addition, it is very friendly, professional and made the ride at my pace, making the visit even more special. I highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting to visit that many places. The tour guide was fantastic and commitment. It did a great day, so we can enjoyed every single place we visited.
