A tour that combines the visit to historic cities of Panama (Old Panama and Casco Viejo) and a visit to the Panama Canal. You can relive histories of the Spanish Colony in our walk through the Old Town (Casco Antiguo) and the stories of the real "Pirates of the Caribbean" in the Old Panama Site. We will finalize in the modern Causeway where you can view of different Marinas and the place where the Panama Canal encounters the Pacific Ocean.

Panama Canal
After picking you up at your hotel, we will go to Miraflores visitor center where you will admire the locks of Panama Canal, one of the most important engineering wonders in the world. In the visitor center you will appreciate the history of the Panama Canal, the biodiversity of the area, as well as an explanation of the operation of the canal. Then we will go to the terrace where you will see the channel's operation with the pass of big ships through the locks and where you can take unforgettable photos.
Casco Viejo
After visiting the Panama Canal we will go to the Old Town of Panama City (Casco Antiguo). We will walk through this site, a World Heritage Site since 1997, which has large squares and churches such as the Church of San José with the great golden altar that was saved from the famous pirate Captain Morgan

4.00It was a private tour with my host Juan.We started at the Panama Canal.Juam had a aura that immediately makes you feel safe and that was important to me since I was a solo traveler.He was knowledgeable about the canal and historical sights. More stops and photo opportunities would make the tour A+ Overall it was a good tour.
Very bad. Panama Canal seen at full speed.

1.00Very bad. Bad time management. Wasted time watching issues of less interest and almost no time left for the channel. It complained and said that the fault was the agency that should have taken a specific tour to the channel because that the channel was just that the time available. The agency that booked, once and for all, said that it had never thought that the Panama Canal would be treated like this as something so secondary and that it would endeavour to never make a reservation with this class again. He couldn't even see a boat pass through the enclosure because he had to run out. Moreover, part of the race was because they needed to drop a specific person from the group on a panoramic flight.

5.00Ariel was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humor too. He even went out of his way to show me my dads old high school, which was very special.

5.00I'm a frequent visitor to Panama and have done several tours in the city. This private tour with OLIVER was by far the best, friendliest, and most informative tour ever. I learned so much that I've educating Panamanians about their city and history. Oliver is personable, super informed and generous with his time and knowledge. 5.00My opinion is that the Panama Canal is one of the most important places in the city where you can live a great experience that allows us to know how the world economy and the country's economy develops since this is the main engine of its economy, see The passage of enormous ships that transport all types of merchandise make this place something majestic. old town is a beautiful combination between ancient and contemporary, you can enjoy here both during the day knowing its history, its churches and museums, you can also enjoy the landscape from here you can visualize the modern city with its great buildings and at night you can enjoy the music, the joy of its people, the bars and restaurants provide their services to locals and foreigners. If you have the opportunity to travel to Panama, you cannot miss visiting the Panama Canal and the old town, the sites with the greatest tourist development in the country.

4.00Oliver was excellent at describing the history of Panama and of the canal, and answered all our questions about Panama. He was a very good driver and did not rush us. Unfortunately there was no parking in the Casco Viego so we only walked the Herrera plaza and saw what we could as we drove by. Also the access to the Amador causeway was blocked so we didn't go there as planned. The Miraflores visitor center Imax movie was good but other parts of the museum were closed.
